Please forgive me if this is a question that has already been answered... I did try to search. Is there a rule of thumb as far as how much depth a person can take anally? I am working on safely inserting a glass dildo for a shopping trip that I have been tasked with and I have limited experience with anal as I'm quite a small framed woman.

People with more experience than I will probably chime but until then, my rule of thumb is narrow and short to start with. Not more than an inch o.d. or longer than four. A person can typically work beyond that in a play session but experience allows one to take 2.5"+ o.d and ~6"+ o.l. without pain. Glass probably isn't the best thing to start off with either... too inflexible and if an inferior firing or you happen to land on it hard... shards... ouch... Thank you for your input. I actually bought it for anal play as it was smaller in diameter. I was able to hang around the house for awhile tonight with it in approximately 4", but it's the getting into the car that is the problem lol And thank you, unfortunately I do not know of the picture's origins... I found it in a search awhile back and added it to my collection..

I've seen videos of men who were fisted up to the fister's shoulder. So I highly doubt a plug or dildo is going to cause any problems. The key is being cleaned out so as to not encounter feces and to be flexible so as to navigate the various curves of the colon is you plan to go past the rectum, which is anywhere from 6 to 8 inches deep.

It's not so much the depth but flexibility. That ass is long and deep with lots of twists and turns... It's also VERY delicate and can be easily torn. You wanna snake that toy right down the center of the canal, NOT slam it into the tunnel walls! The worst thing to stick into the ass is a long, thin, rigid toy. On the other hand, something long, soft and flexible like a rubber snake can easily go in several feet if the ass has been cleaned out good.

If you go with the flexibility concept Hotch mentions, the small intestine is about 23 feet long. The large intestine is 5 feet long so I think you are safe with your anal toy that measures in inches.
