We share so much of our lives together - the good and bad. We spend a lot of time together. And the fact that you kick your panties off into the corner soon as ya hit the door, might have an affect on it too...

I totally agree with Pure's first post on the thread. I was thinking about that at great length last night. I share more of myself, my days, my feelings, my ups and downs, my kids' triumphs and heartaches with you all than my blood relatives. I choose to share that with you all because I know that you all care, and you know that I care, too. And we are each other's biggest cheering section, emotional support, posse, comrades in arms, etc. than just about anyone else that I can think of. If I could bring us all into a little CM commune (not just this online one), I would, just because it seems like a little slice of nirvana. [:)]

I've been hangin out here since 2007 when I was housebound with the broken foot. I lived in a new apt complex & knew nobody there. I found P&RS & found a community of people who made me laugh & cried with me too. I've been here nearly every day since. It doesn't feel like I've started my day till I check in here to see what everybody's up to. I know some of you in real life & others I would love to know. If I could I'd gather y'all into a big huge group hug.

Probably because of the greater opportunity to get to know people better through the various boards. You get to see that they have multifaceted personalities. Their lighter side in certain areas and their more serious sides on others. Due to the formatting, it's easy to find repeated posts from the same user over the course of time. One of the advantages that this place has over Fet. It allows you to get to know people (at least from the written word angel) on a better scale.
