I had 2 people try to move in with me in the last year- and I dont want that. However I do have family and if it comes to that- then it does and I will share what I have with them. So- things can be worrisome.

I believe unemployment benefits have been extended twice now. How long do you expect us to subsidize their vacation? I was laid off a long time ago, and not only did they never even consider extending unemployment benefits during a recession, I never received any benefits at all. Guess what, I took a job at half my salary.

Business' are closing doors, people are walking away from their homes, just who is picking up the slack on the taxes not being paid? With so many people on unemployment, making a small percentage of their usual salary, the income tax is drastically reduced. The trickle down effect, is less purchasing done at retail stores, meaning less sales tax. The old saying, "you can't get blood from a turnip" was never more meaningful. Unless they start taxing sex, or other "free" activities, the government will need to find alternative means to pad the purse.
