2. It boggles my mind what these cowardly people were looking for in the first place. If they could abandon a dinner date just like that, how could they possibly convince themselves that despite that, they were these glorious dominant masters? Human brains are very strange places.

I admit I've skipped out on a date once. It had nothing to do with being cowardly and everything to do with escaping a bad situation.

Many many years ago I was chatting with a "Dom" online and he seemed nice enough and normal then and so I agreed to meet him for a drink and that was it...just A drink.

Well he shows up and his entire car is loaded up with all his belongings, walks in and says he's ready to move in with me. WTF? uum...I only agreed to have a drink! So I told him that I think he may have misinterpreted me somewhere along the lines. Yeah, nothing I said to him seemed to be getting through to him. It was like a Dr Jekyl/Mr. Hyde situation and so I did the whole have to use the restroom scenario and took off as fast as my legs would carry me and I have no regrets whatsoever.

I have a feeling many women run into such situations...they talk to a guy who seems great until they actually meet and it turns out they've misrepresented themselves and they're also completely insane, fucking nuts and the only way out is the backdoor

I don't think some men realize just how many of their own gender are out there who are like that. I mean I've had girlfriends who have had to do the same thing as me because of similar situations so I know it's not just me.

I'm sure there are some men out there who have had to do the same thing. Sometimes knowing the entire situation before calling them a coward helps.

Well, you see, this was a woman I knew through and through, saw and spoke with daily, and who went through the events in detail with me. I knew the entire situation. (shrug) It was nothing like the scenaros you described. I'm not discounting that what you said happens, but I'm a little suprised you'd think I'd be so distant from the situation I was relating not to know what actually happened. I feel quite confident calling such behavior toward her "cowardly." Base, even.

He is lucky you did not slit his throat. I am glad to hear you got out of there OK. He , and the others that do this, are NOT a dom. These men are having esteem issues. He had this all planned, sick asshole.

And you little lady, best be prepared more next time. You did trust him too much, you did put your own self in harms way.

Better luck next time. Being a sub, does not mean being reckless.

I was responding to the fact that you said "these cowardly people" thus making it seem like anyone who skips out on a date must be a coward. I have no idea of your situation really but I'm responding to the fact that sometimes one slips out the backdoor for a good reason.
