Some move out of district, others mull cyberschooling MIDDLEBURG - In his final words, 14-year-old Brandon Bitner wrote that his peers had bullied him. "Some were my friends, but most were not." He also wrote that Midd-West schools might learn something from his death, and "students and staff can address that harassment and bring it to an end."/snip
This piece surprises me. Kid gets concussion- they go to the police and no charges?
This has been in the paper every day of late.
The neighboring district does not have this problem?
I thought they were all the same. Middleburg is a farm area... it has nothing to speak of to include decent shopping. One has to go like 12 miles to shop.
PS- it is very unusual for THIS newspaper to give this type of issue so much press.
