I moved this thread off because I have noticed posts along the lines of "All I want is X, Y, and Z, why can't a dude like me get a date?" becoming more common. Without calling anybody's motivations (including Mark's) into question, I must say that if we let posts like this continue to proliferate, the boards will soon degenerate into what amounts to an endless stream of commercials, the intent of which are to entice a sympathetic reader to contact the writer or view their profile. That is not the intent of the message boards.
