It does? To me and I would expect to most it is any office above the State level, primarily Congress and the executive branch.

Some area's can appericate cultural diversity more than other area's in America.The Northeast,the state's that are on the Pacific Ocean.Even state's like South Carolina and Louisana have voted for Hindu-American's.Flordia elected a Cuban-American to the U.S. Senate.It can sort of tell where the more close minded state's are at.

I would criticize anyone who votes for a candidate strictly on the basis of race, gender, or religion.

As well as those who refuse to vote for someone based on those reasons.

Which gets us into the whole issue of whether those staunch feminists who voted for the Sorebutt/Barbie ticket because half of it pisses sitting down are more or less patronising than the eeeevil liberals who voted for the Kenyan/Biden package because half of that was black, doesn't it?
