Well, it has started again, the tories are in power and they are back to their old games of selling off anything that this country values as it's own. The latest one is plans to sell off all of our state owned forest and heathland ;

The great forest sell off !

But although the plans are due to be announced in the next few days, there is already massive opposition to the plan and those who wish to register their own disgust at this plan can do so at the 38 degrees website;

Save Our Forests

But on the subject of privatisation, here in the UK what we had has largely gone, our energy industries, telecommunications and even water, all got rid of by the tories under the pretence that privatisation would allow us the customer to get better serbvice and better prices due to competition between privatised companies for our business. This has proved to be largely false, as many believe we are in a worse situation now than were before the sell off of the country's silver.

I am just wondering what the game plan is with the tories, when will they be happy enough to give up their bargain basement sales of eveything that is British, what will it take I wonder, and there think probably when the inhabitants of the UK have to rent their own country off foreign interests.

Personally I think we need to sell off parliament as a fat lot of use they are.

What's new ?

The takers are taking. Takers have always took. Want to know who they are, just look for the people who have. Takers want to charge you for the air you breathe, and are looking into that right now. Every blade of grass, the crack of your ass, they take. Doesn't matter, all we have is what the takers let us have, and that is decided for their own benefit. Why ? Because they are takers.

For a quick refresher course on taking might I suggest a listen to the song Taxman by The Beatles. I am not kidding. But that is only part of it. What the fuck gives some crew of assholes the right to sell the Earth ?* And they sell our brainpower in the way of intellectual rights as well. They would bottle up the entire fucking atmosphere of this planet and sell it by the gram is they could.

If you think I am kidding, live and learn.

* The sentence preceding the asterisk is indeed socialistic in nature, but I have to let it stand. The concept of ownership must be reckoned with one day. I am anti socialist, at least the modern concept of it, but really what can be owned and what can't ? If you can own one acre of land you could concievably own them all. The base concept even of communism is not what most people think. These were not as bad of ideas as people think, but they were bastardised and attourned to the point where it's obvious that the human race is simply not ready. But on the bright side, we lived in an illusion that we can actually own something, but no longer. Now they live in the illusion. All we need concern ourselves with is what actually happens now. Will it be off limits ? Will they charge admission ? Things like that.

They paved paradise, put up a parking lot.
They took all the trees, put em in a tree museum,
Now they chanrge the people, a dollar and a half,
Just to see um.
Don't it always seem to go - You don't know what you got till it's gone.

Now it's their turn. They can't live without us. They think they own everything ? So the fuck what. They own it just as much as we did when we thought we did. But really, the control should be with the People. Fret not, it wasn't anyway.

Yeah, you are right there, for the only thing that has changed in all this, is terminology. A cunning plan no doubt hatched by the ruling classes to dumb the people ( slave in everything but name) down into believing they own something, but the reality is the people own nothing, what was stolen remains stolen and those that have it will do with it what they wish. In the country's interest we are all told as we are conned out of what we never had. That seventeenth century English war did not change anything but the words used to describe and we all know words are cheap or to be defined by the lawyer profession of which many a politician just happens to be.

I am just wondering why over the last few days of thinking about this plan to sell off Britain's forests and heath have I had in the back of my mind The digger's Song by Chumbawamba and Billy Bragg's song;  A World Turned Upside Down, songs from the past when I was trying to be something else. Neither song I particularly like, not exactly very melodic to me, more of a dirge but what am I connecting here ?

The Nasty Party are as nasty and unpleasant as they were under Thatcher. But we knew that, didn't we?

Now, when they scrap the hunting legislation, Henrietta and George Richly-Bastardon and their wealthy mates from the banking sector will have more places to kill wildlife on.

More like rich swathes of land will be bought for peanuts, bought by the wealth and fences errected saying Ged off My Land, Keep out, Private land, so the riche,nouveau riche and their sycophants can destroy Britain's wildlife without interference from the disenfranchised peasant who at the end of the day have no reason to complain, as they never had anything to begin with.

Ahh yes, but they were also born with nothing.

I'll give you the moon. I have the deed right here. How about Mars, you like red ? You don't want Jupiter, I couldn't sell that planet to a deaf, blind brain dead politician for ten cents.

They do this shit ostensibly to prevent expoitation. Very true actually. But read the rest :

They do this shit to prevent exploitation BY OTHERS.
