I think I slept through the 80-90's when it comes to music.   I'm used to not recognizing bands or entertainers from those era's, but after googling Teena Marie, and looking at all the songs she released, I still don't recognize her or her music.    Suddenly I feel ancient.

This must be what my grandparents felt, when Jimi hit the scene.   I have arrived at a place that seemed unreachable in my youth. 

A sad event, to loose someone so young, my heart goes out to Teena's family, for their loss.

Jail aint as fun as it's cracked up to be.....mostly boring...really really really boring....with the monotony only broken when your cellie fucks up when throwing his "booty" smuggled pills down the hall for some topramen....shoulda seen how he hustled to get that shit back before the guard made his rounds

TM only had a hit or two. That's why you can't remember her. She was to play here on New Year's Day. They are now turning that show into a tribute. I have to work Saturday evening... but I still wouldn't go. I'd be in NashVegas watching Webb Wilder. :)
