"No. There is absolutely nothing anywhere that defines natural born citizen. Therefore your claim is at best wishful thinking."

Completely wrong.

The phrase and definition- the one undoubtedly intended by the Founders- are found in The Law of Nations by Monsieur de Vatel. 1763, if memory serves.

You might also, in this context, check the holy writ of  stare decisis holies, Marbury v. Madison, for their finding that every unique phrase in the Constitution must have a unique meaning (i.e. "citizen" and "natural born citizen" must have different meanings). Near the end, maybe the very last paragraph. I have quoted/cited it here previously.

But don't take my word for it. Look them up for yourself, on a site you trust.  [:)]

It is bizzare that you think a swiss writer defined a term under US law (30+ years before the Constitution was written no less).

Rule -> RE: FLASHBACK: Gore Reports Snow and Ice Across World Vanishing Quickly... (12/31/2010 2:18:50 PM)

It would be far more bizarre if the concept had been defined not before the constitution was written, but after.

Berg filed this appeal. The appeal was dismissed. There were no costs associated with the appeal, because Berg's case was denied.

Please provide a way to contact this lawyer. Since, according to your logic, he didnt charge for filing an appeal, maybe I can get other free services out of him.

Ahhhh, yes, the precepts of the Constitution were pulled out of thin air with absolutely no prior reading of political philosophy.

DomKen -> RE: FLASHBACK: Gore Reports Snow and Ice Across World Vanishing Quickly... (12/31/2010 4:25:49 PM)

The precepts were not pulled out of thin air but legal terms are derived only from common law and from legislation. Natural born citizen is defined in neither.

Which has nothing to do with your incredulity at something written 30 years before the Constitution might actually have influenced it's writing.

Philip Berg filed the appeal. You want to hire him, be my guest. But, dont expect him to win you any cases.

Look... I didn't vote for Obama and am not terribly impressed with the job that he's done so far, however, he is our President.  Please show a modicum of respect and refer to him with his proper name.

Same think i have been saying, Treasure. Obama does enough wrong without having to resort to the name calling. Just makes the one doing it look like a bigger idiot.

How bout him actually earning some respect first!

tazzygirl -> RE: FLASHBACK: Gore Reports Snow and Ice Across World Vanishing Quickly... (12/31/2010 11:02:28 PM)

Being elected to the office affords him at least the respect to spell his name correctly.

Treasure, I agree.

O'dumbo, Oblunder, 0bama0.  My feeling is they are intent on showing their disrespect, so we can all hold our breath on them wanting to spell correctly and will instead default to that old cliche "they have to earn my respect first", to justify their want to make themselves look ignorant (or if not ignorant, then a poor speller, at best).  As if Obama can give a hill of beans about their individual, personal intentions to disrespect anything, most of all him.  But it makes them feel good to call him names. LOL Name calling, to me, has always been a last ditch attempt to have a child-like fit expressing dismay with a thing.  Or, not knowing how to express that dismay in an adult way.

In other words...don't like something?  Just call it a name.  That makes it all better! [;)]

That's a tired old line.

People that say such things don't know the difference between respect and courtesy.

Lets face it, He could lay gold bricks and some would find fault with the shape or the quantity.
Have to admit tho I thought willbur was saying  cerveza needs to earn respect..
I almost agreed, then I came to my senses.

Scientists have established a link between the colder winter being experienced in the U.K and the melting of the Arctic Sea Ice. An analysis of the ice free regions of the Arctic Ocean has found that the higher temperatures experienced due to climate change may paradoxically mean that the northern hemisphere has increased the chances of colder winters in the years to come.
Some climate Scientists have concluded that the 30 year retreat of the Arctic ice sheets has changed the wind patterns over much of northern hemisphere, leading to cold Arctic winds being funneled over the UK, replacing the normally mild Westerly air stream that normally dominates the country in winter.
The study carried out in 2009, before that years bitterly cold winter period, is all the more prescient because of it's predictions that snowy winters will be three times more likely over the coming years then in previous decades.

The researchers used computer models to assess the impact of the disappearing Arctic sea ice, particularly in the areas of the Barents and Kara seas north of Scandinavia and Russia. Their models found that , as the ice cap over the ocean disappeared, this allowed the heat of the water to escape into the much colder atmosphere, creating an area of high pressure surrounded by clockwise-moving winds that sweep down from the polar regions over Britain and Europe.

Dr Vladimir Petoukhov, who carried out the study at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Change Impact Research in Germany, said the simulations showed that the disappearing ice is likely to have widespread and unpredictable impacts on the climate of the Northern hemisphere.

FYP

I can write a system to pick horserace winners (or football winners, or election winners) that will show fabulous profits based on past data and is totally worthless for future betting. Thats all "climate science" has accomplished so far.

"It is bizzare that you think a swiss writer defined a term under US law (30+ years before the Constitution was written no less). "

Is there a libtard prize for whomever picks the silliest nit with me??

I'm pretty sure [:D] all the words and phrases were defined by somone other than the Founders before they used them. When they wanted to define a term in a certain way not commonly in use, they did so (I am thinking here specifically of their defintion of the word "citizen").
