I have been talking about doing it for years and finally did it.

deff the best healing solution is sea salt and warm water, makes the pain lessen, and quickens healing. CVS should have it or even the piercing parlor, i know ours gives lil bags of em out for free.

if i may be allowed to say, i just had both done a few days ago and they used door knockers for the jewelry. Pain!  I STILL SCREAM...PAIN! ...omg it hurt. the piercer said it would be around  five to six months for initial healing, and not to twist or slide them until fully healed, but i could move them up or down. He didn't say when they would be fully healed.  But i can wear a t-shirt now without crying...and its about four days now....

i have found that lots of pressure [ie, sports bra, tight tank and a Tee] helps A LOT! keeps the friction waaaaaay down

stef -> RE: Nipple Piercings! (5/5/2006 8:07:39 AM)

Just putting an adhesive bandage (not the fabric kind) over them helped immenseley when I had mine done.

thanks mixielious; i fear it's beyond that, but the bleeding did stop, for now. How can something so small hurt so much...wow...for just a moment  i did see the light, big time, then he did the other one, or as i think of  it now, the sequel ...plain pain ...lol...i checked with them though, said not to worry...HA...they don't try to eat the steering wheel every blessed time the seat belt raked across their chest...Oh well, it done and now i'll live, would i do it again knowing how it feels, probably not, but i'm glad i did, nevertheless, though i wouldn't do it again. this is something i always wanted to do...will try the band-aids, stef; but somehow i don't think they are ready for me in a sports bra in the bible belt lol...

i was actually pierced with 10g.  It was a bit overwhelming, so i took them down to 12g.  My healing period was very short.  Mine require a lot of upkeep play (lucky me) because i still (4 years later) experience "blow out" scarring.  It's a great excuse in my book for a lot of tugging and stimulation.

slavejali -> RE: Nipple Piercings! (6/12/2006 11:13:17 PM)

I had my nipples pierced about 18 months ago. I used salted water for healing. They healed fast and I had no problems. One side gets a bit sensitive now and then still, but nothing over the top. I would say 6 weeks is way to early for weights.

MistressFire666 -> RE: Nipple Piercings! (6/13/2006 3:06:20 PM)

I have my right nipple pierced, 14 but now a 10. (Only got one, because that's all I ever wanted. Though I think my other nipple was kinda green eyed. ;P )

It took a full three years for it to heal the way it should have. Due to my body rejecting the metal. It used to milk and pus before. I went to the doctor and she told me it was the steel that was making it do that. Now I use this kind of fiber plastic material and it is better than great.

As for weights I would wait at least 1-2 years before trying it, and while you don't have weights on it give them a break with the plastic bars, it feels lighter and the bars are colored.

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Nipple Piercings! (6/13/2006 10:57:59 PM)

I've been wanting to have mine done for a while now, to the ladies who're pierced, did any of you experience decreased sensitivity?  Was it just slight?  Very noticeable?

I'm totally horrible with blood...do they bleed much, during as well as after the piercing?  If so, how long did it last?  I'm hoping it was very brief [:o]

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Nipple Piercings! (6/13/2006 11:22:44 PM)

Ok, so now my initially lazy ass just read through the entire topic, I have a few questions for anyone willing to indulge me, please:

What is 'migration'?

What were the symptoms to 'metal allergy'?

What are the nipples now like of the women who had to take the piercings out?

Any of the ladies here who've had them done...have *large* nipples?  I'm at a nearly 'athletic' weight for my height, and have both large breasts as well as nipples...think the size of a saucer for a tea cup...they're obviously not that large when they're erect, but when they're flat that's the best example I can give of the size.  Do larger nipples with piercings have any added problems I should be aware of?

polysub4play -> RE: Nipple Piercings! (6/13/2006 11:28:40 PM)

My husband got my nipples done for my Mother's Day present. Isn't an awesome gift! I used antibacterial hand soap to clean them, then sea salt/water solution with a 1:4 ratio, and finally a little neosporin so they would not stick. I was healed up and ready to play in a week. Now, when my husband got his done, he was not as diligent and it took him at least 6 weeks to heal.
