I can honestly say that armadillo is one of the few meats that I would have to be told AFERWARDS what I ate.  I don't think I'd knowingly eat armadillo unless it was the only thing availabe.

Bosintang?

I am almost positive that I had bosintang soup on a trip to South Korea in the 80s but I'd prefer not to know what it was. Though I did find out some years later by accident. I am well aware, however, that this meat is a Korean staple and thought of there as chicken or beef is here.

Do you mean the green paste ( horseradish,  mustard and food colouring ) which has no actual wasabi in it?
Or do you mean REAL wasabi ... as in Wasabia japonica or (the type I prefer) Wasabia korean

Few in the west has had real wasabi.  The stuff is prohibitivelly expensive.

Either way,  no.  I don't enjoy eating condiments and flavourings straight.

Tamales?

I love Ramen noodles,  but there's not much room for something like that on a weightlifting/bodybuilding regimen.  So a qualified maybe - depends on whether I can work in some high glycemic index, mostly nutritionally empty carbs as a cheat or as a post workout meal.
