yes but without the caramel sauce --------------------------- tostones, thick slices of green plantain double sauteed (squished down after 1st) topped with a sweet and hot peach salsa/chutney. The same can be done with ''sweet'' plantain which is yellow but not much ''sweeter'' and is known as mauduros.

Oh nooo nooo nooo bad memories of those damned things! And STILL I got another frickin' box of them this Christmas. It's like the fruitcake thing is for most people; me and cherry cordials. I like haggis though but only made the correct way. -------------------------------------- sweet potato pancakes, not the fluffy ones but the ones like latkes only with sweet potato instead

It is simply flour, butter and water baked on a griddle. Some put peas and spices in it, which is then called Dahl Puri.
