Well here's one to try,

Melt a stick of butter in a roasting pan, add 1 cup apple cider or malt vinager, and about 3 tablespoons of Lawrys season Salt, and 3 tablespoons of Tabasco.

Coat your raw potsto wedges in it and then bake at 400 for about an hour stirring occasionally until nicely browned. Dip in Blue cheese dressing for a great fry!

Oh, that sounds fabulous!  But I'd use either margarine or oil for the butter, and I don't eat blue cheese.  But I bet that would be fabulous with tomatillo hummus!
