So today begins a new reign in California.  Lets see if Jerry Brown can fix the mess.

If California is setting a precedent by bringing back old governors, I wonder if the presidential race will do the same...and who will be thrown in the race.

He will not be able to fix the mess without cooperation from SEIU and other unions in CA. That seems very unlikely.

Especially since he created them.

Don't feel bad. The morons in Iowa re-elected Branstad. They have very short memories it seems.

Wait.

Am I understanding this correctly?

Jerry Brown, who has not been Governor since 1983, created California's present-day problems?

I wonder if Bill Clinton would run again...just see his campaign slogan now
"Who cares that I got a hummer in the ovaloffice, if I find a way to fix taxes and put food on your tables"

LBJ and Reagan?

If it's either of them then they will literally have to be thrown in.

do you have any idea of how much scotch tape and super glue it takes to make a 200 year old corpse look remotely presentable?

Might as well start from scratch with some wax...we've had a "Teflon president" now it's time for a wax president

"he melts under pressure"

No, Pyro, I don't. And I would NOT want to associate with anyone who knew the answer to that.

Hell, if you could elect dead people Ted Kennedy would be all over the Senate like "Weekend at Bernies."
