First, are any tips for senind introduction messgaes to a mistress?

I don't even know how to begin a message. I know from being on the online world that if there is a cute girl and many many monkeys (us guys) that the poor girl is going to get flooded with spam and what not, and she might not even look at my messgae. I'm deeply excited when I log in on collarme and see that someone has viewed my profile or even sent me a message. But know for a fact that ladies get a 100+ messages a day. And most of them are pointless spam, like "Hey how r u" "Will u spank me" "Need u bad" etc
I do read the profile before I send a message I know thats a good start lol.

Secondly is there anything I can do make my profile get hits? Do dommies even look at male submissive profiles?

Dammit- I am doing something wrong with my profile then, I don't get anywhere near that many emails- dammit!!

Yeah, I'm kidding, I would rather have 1 genuine email of interest than 100 "u wanna have anal?" (yeah, I have gotten that one) LOL

Yes.

If you look at your mail room page, "Who's Viewing Me?" will be in red because I just perved your profile.

Other than looking at the profiles of some forum posters, if someone writes to me I look at his profile. Sometimes from stealth mode...opening up another window, clicking on Home, and using the search feature to look at their profile and journal entries and not the complete profile that would trigger the "Who's Viewing Me?" thing to light up.

I check to see if they have made any posts in the message boards and see what they have had to say. I also read profiles of people within a hundred miles of where I live.

I only just signed up for this site and fetlife after moving from another site, but I have a ton of messages. What I look for in a message is someone respectful, polite, who has obviously read my profile by including the codeword embedded in the profile, who offers me something and to whom I can offer something in return. Proper English and grammar is also appreciated. Asking for more pictures or specific acts is uncalled for and will result in deletion of their mail.

For instance, if somebody is into waterplay and can offer me domestic servitude, obviously I like the domestic servitude, but if I can't offer the waterplay and that's important, I will tell them so ahead of time so they don't get themselves into a situation where they start to feel resentful.

WhiteDragon, you're new to the lifestyle. Let me give you a few tips:

1. Don't refer to Dommes as "girls".
2. Your profile states that you're looking for a Mistress and/or a girlfriend. Decide on the one or the other.
3. "I want a cute/looking girl who can ensnare me, and make me her slave". Replace that with what you want out of a relationship and why you want to serve.
4. "I AM COMPLETLEY NEW TO THIS LIFESTYLE. This site is my first attempt at finding someone. " Keep that. Honesty is not so common today, and it makes you look good.
5. Eliminate your last sentence. The scammers and tribute queens will ignore it, and it implies that all Dommes want tribute, when many don't.
