I know HOW to make cookies, they are just too much work compared to dumping the batter in a 9 x 13 pan. Now if someone were to MAKE me make cookies...

Note to self: Always bring homemade cookies when meeting a new master.

Addendum: make sure he doesn't have a gluten allergy first

There are two sorts of dominants, dog dominants and cat dominants and the two are very different as are their partners. Dogs are not their master's equal, Cats are. Dogs are dependent, cat's are not. Dogs need to run in packs, need a master, cats may choose one.

Mine likes to be surprised with gummy bears. It's my tribute to him. Which reminds me... I haven't paid tribute in awhile. *make mental note*

LOL I think ours are cut from the same (gummy bear) mold.  I've never seen someone like gummy bears so much!

Otherwise, he wants me to obey, and he wants someone compatible with him in most areas of life.

What an interesting (and accurate!) analogy!! It's somewhat similar to how i view the difference between being a 'slave' versus a 'submissive'. i doubt that i would be a very successful slave. i love doing things for Him, and making Him happy and being appreciated for it, but i don't particularly fancy total servitude. i am far too independently-minded for that. And cheeky.

Funny that i should read this just as i am starting to notice and ponder upon how feline and 'cat-like' i am in character, behaviour, and submission. Hrmm. How curious it is that so much of human nature can be compared to the animal nature of cats and dogs. What about chickens???!

I want a clean kitchen. I want anal. I want anal in a clean kitchen. And I want cookies (thus the need for a clean kitchen with all the anal going on in there).

pfffffff since when do you need a clean kitchen to do cookies? Never heard about active immunisation? Heavens sake, nothing wrong with that

I want someone who'll argue with me over a point of philosophy, ethics or politics. Someone I could trust to turn the boat around if I fell out of it (this is not a metaphor - I really do mean tack and gybe)

I always got accused of arguing too much or finding amusement on the so dear Masters who love to stay in their lovely bubble of reality denial that they of course would never ever need help?

I understand your confusion. While warm, moist cookies do sound like fun to do, I prefer eating them. :)

you can do both

Maybe I am on the wrong track what you are talking about but it reminded me on a guy I met who was close to a heart attack as I dared to do the dough on the plain kitchen surface instead of putting his holy board in between...when actually, bashing the dough is no fun on a board which is usually too small anyway or simply keeps lifting up with the dough...so I just think that sometines cleanliness is overrated....but thats just me

I want them to learn new skills or obtain new qualifications, so that in thirty years when they use that skill or qualification they remember me as the person who made them get it.

I want to be in the back of her mind throughout her day.
The purpose of assignments, things she would not do without my instruction, small reminders and humiliations, those things are to make a submissive conscious of me.
I want to share in her thoughts. I want us to share pride in her obedience.
I don't want to beat her.  I don't argue, however. Structure is important, but mistakes happen, and they are generally handled with a mind to correcting behavior and leading.
I want her to follow.

True, but not in this thread, as that would be derailment. Maybe you could start one in the appropriate section? I'd certainly say my six words in it!

CaringandReal -- no i'm talking about this thread. you see boatloads of "submissive wants" and "what makes a good (insert dominant phrase here)" threads, but not many aimed at the D/M perspective. That's interesting to me. i think sometimes subs/slaves make assumptions about what Ds/Ms want, so it's nice to hear things from the horse's mouth. =p

osf -- quite true, but sometimes simple answers just don't provide enough. =p haha
