I'm a straight male dom, 34. Call me Edward. I just moved to the Springfield, IL area and haven't yet gotten to know the locals. I thought I'd try collarme as a way to get started -- I'm used to meeting people through friends, certain bars and hangouts, but I thought an internet introduction to potential subs would be more likely to slow things down and keep away the undesireables.

I was a closet dom for most of my life, doing what was expected of me rather than what I needed for myself. That changed about six years ago. I've had a couple of lasting subs, neither of which worked out into the long term relationship I'm looking for. I wish one of them luck in finding someone more suited to her. And I hope the other one figures out that trading intimacy for money has a different name.

My experiences with kink are fairly limited. I always preferred to keep things simple, keep the relationship about those precious intangibles rather than a toybox. Not that I'm averse to sharing new experiences, adventures, sensations.
