I am not sure if we had a post like this before, already...don't judge me if we did. There is so many pro-dommes in this world; I was kinda wondering if any of domme women have any experience with professional sub men? Are there such men?

Back when I ran Inner Explorations we also had submissive women on staff. Their services were more expensive as we required another staff person in the dungeon during those sessions both to protect the submissive and to confirm that no laws were being broken. I know of a number of other professional dungeons that have submissive women but I've never heard of a paid submissive man. I guess it's for the same reason it's hard to sell beer during a frat party.

If there is such a thing as a prosub man, most of his customers would be male... Perhaps a few women may pay for a learning experience... Maybe someome like meninpain.com or insexm.com pays for sub male models... I dont know how shy you are or what rates they would pay...

It is not about me, I am not a pro sub nor I intend to become one...I was simply wondering. Lets say that a certain lady feels like a domme and wants to explore that side of her but cannot do that with her husband. Sure she could easily find a male sub anywhere but, in view of discretion, I figure it would be safer to find a pro sub. Maybe I am wrong, I don't know...

Ya, that may happen. I think it would be a fairly rare occurance.

With no disrespect, for the most part there are some things that women will never have to pay for. I'm sure its happened, but I would submit to you that its very very rare.

Would he not be clingy and needy or turn stalkerish? Would he not come with a laundry lists of his own kinks and expect her to meet his fantasies first and foremost? And would he look like johnny depp or have the body of a professional athlete? The pro male subs that are gay probably do pretty well. But they know their market and they have to have a certain appeal an a great deal of skill. I wouldn't be adverse to paying a qualified pro sub for his time, provided that he had a stunning dungeon at his disposal, would not expect ME to cater to his needs and he was drop dead gorgeous. Sure, lots of sub me would line up and say "You could dominate me and you don't even have to pay me!" but they aren't equipped with the necessary skills, depth, equipment or looks. Akasha

Akasha [/quote] this, I completely agree with...although, looks and equipment should be least of problems...I mean, even subs tend to seek good loking dommes, pro or non-pro; here in europe, there are many dungeons for rent and are very well equiped. But skills and depth, as you said, might be a problem...pro sub would probably, in most cases, have too many limits.

Looks, wardrobe, dungeon and equipment are precisely what prodommes are judged on, and if the quality & appearance is there, they are able to charge a premium. That $300/hour isn't pure profit to be sure. It's expensive to create that atmosphere. I don't think renting a dungeon space when a session is booked or being of average appearance and skill level is something that would make a pro male sub marketable. He really has to have something to offer well above and beyond the average "lifestyle" male sub because frankly, it's really really easy for a Domme to find casual no-strings play. Did I mention it was easy? If not, I should mention it's really easy. The interesting thing is that if male prosubs were more common (and able to make a good living at it), I wonder how "lifestyle" male subs would feel about a Domme who utilized their services.

As with anything else in this... if you can think it, someone is already out there doing it. So I am sure there is a market for pro-malesubs. I agree with the suggestion that a pro-malesub would have to offer something extraordinary. It all boils down to a supply & demand thing... there are so many males out there giving it away. Kind of like the guy standing on the street corner selling roses when there is a field behind him says "Free U-Pick Roses, no purchase necessary". He better have some damn fine roses if he wants to stay in business.

I'm curious where our little band of pro-domme bashers are on this thread. Aren't prosubs whores and scammers as well? Interesting how they are so quick to jump on the bandwagon and bash when it's any thread even remotely related to women taking money in exchange for play/services, but have ignored this one.....double standards, boys, double standards!
