Jake would have been ten when his son was born. I'm guessing his son was either a cabbage patch kid or a figment of his imagination.

You are correct that Jake would be 10 when his son was born. By doing so, you have figured out 1 of the 3 clues I gave. You have totally failed to spot the other two clues.

The next clue was 10 blocks from Hunter College NYC. Google it and see what is around.

I'm assuming that Jake would be a zoo-dweller.

Here's a Biblical riddle:

Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it, five in the middle is seen.  The first of all letters and the first of all numbers have taken their places between.

Name the Biblical king.

David.

Solution:
Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it,
D = Roman numeral for 500

Five in the middle is seen;
V = Roman numeral for 5

First of all letters, the first of all figures,
A = the first letter
I = the first figure (number - in roman numerals)

DAVID

Yes, well, coming from you it had to be a number thing.

Here is another one:

What row of numbers comes next in this series?
1
11
21
1211
111221
312211
13112221

?

And another train left China traveling at 55 mph and both collided at the Charn Canyon,

Where would they bury the survivors?

Correct!. Jake has hands, so Jake can't be a dog or cat. Jake is a Snow Monkey, living in the Central Park Zoo.

We've already seen my two favorite riddles (Bury the survivors? SICK! and the color of the bear)

My third favourite is this one:

Peter and his father are in a car accident. Peter is not adopted and his parents are happily married. Peter's father dies in the accident, but peter survives and is rushed to the hospital. He is wheeled into surgery, but the doctor stops and says "I can't operate on my own son."

Who is the Surgeon?
