While tempted to tease, I decided on a serious answer.

I've know dominant women who were the kindest, wisest, women I've ever met. I've know dominant men who were as well.

I've also met prime examples of those who were assholes too. Every walk of life holds every personality type.

Though I've often wondered if that overt "display" of toughness was not just a way to keep the all too fragile hearts within protected from hurt.

Yeah, totally a gender thing. As we've seen with religion, racism will be eradicated before sexism.
When I give advice on a vanilla work site, I use my initials and last name, i.e., gender neutral. I'm taken far more seriously and people enquire far more respectfully when they think my genitalia are externalised.

I know this kind of warrants a different thread (sexism & discrimination against women) but since we're on the tangent....
When I was living female and I asked for a raise to match the work I was doing, I found my position posted in the newspaper and I was offered a demotion instead. My wages were at least 10 to 20K under what males were making in my same position. Worked for 3 years and could barefly break out of my low pay grade.

First job as a man in the exact same field: immediately offered several thousand above my highest paying job as a female. I received 6 raises in 4 years--and never asked for one, plus two bonuses when I did work outside my job description. I almost doubled my highest wage earned as a female in no time at all. I know that in my current position, I earn more than my female counterparts, even though they are equally as capable and hardworking. I get job offers on a regular basis without looking--and many times, when I suggest a female colleague who I know is out searching for new work, I hear the sexism firsthand about the job needs someone "more aggressive." riiiiiight.

I am coming to this post so late but I am here! Now what a question, now I do not see why you would or could think all
dominant women are "bitchy" your could not have meant ever single one! So your question is out of line but it is your opinion!
What if the question was why are all lesbain pushy and will not take no for an anwser, I am a dominant woman and I have had so many request from submissive women but I see it as a nice, but I write and tell them thank you but no thanks in a very nice and pleasant way! I have it my profile only submissive men!!! I did not make that comment as an insult, just as a patternt that just happens! But I would not ever state all lesbain submissive are pushy, you can not group all of the people as the same! Everyone is so different! I had to come here to cm by way of my old mail, I can not find the right cm there are so many this is only true one! So if I am answering a post from Feb, it is my only way into here does anyone know the right website for this site only?
