I don't see anything wrong with the Rihanna video "S&M".I like it.I can understand that it may not be for kids viewing but other than that,it's fine.I remember when Brittney Spears came out with her video,"I am a slave for you".That video would be airing on MTV at 4pm in the afternoon.Somehow,that video was okay.Yet,Riannas video is so terrible?I really don't care what mainstream media says anyways.I am not exactly awaiting for their approval.

RF, it really isn't all that good, is it? I think it's funny, though. All the strobe-light-effect clips of people wearing ball gags and such. [:D]

I would ban it for being such a piss poor example of modern pop music....not because of a few risque outfits/scenarios. Not to mention the god awful cliche line "sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me." [8\|] I was amused by the gagged journalists, though.

I saw that it wasn't overly liked, but man the whole thing was just dreadful. I wasn't sure if I was just turning into an old fart, [:)]

I generally hate that sort of music. No exception here. Being banned in 11 countries might very well turn it into a hit, no matter how bad it is. C'mon. The banana at the end? How about the widespread crotch shot, with the pink popcorn bucket standing in? The video is WAY too racy for general audiences, IMHO, and is guaranteed to piss off a whole lot of parents.
