Lockit, to me, the brightest and coolest people on the planet have some weakness or another. People can be sharp and wise in all ways but just one, and it's that one that the con-artist will go for. Possibly the commonest weaknesses of all, again even amongst the super-sharp, are those that relate to romantic feelings. I myself have been a total berk in that regard many times before, and I'm sure I will again.

Plus, you're exactly right.  On any given day, some folks will pat a person on the head, no matter how silly they are being.  Others won't.  Had the poster not been a mature adult, who by all rights has probably been on the internet before, on a site where there's  specific information about such things, I'm willing to bet there would have been much more of the former, rather than the latter.

I agree and have been guilty of this in some manner. You are ignorant, low on something, miss something or you lie to yourself in some manner, at some point or you fall into someone with good game. The difference here is that the OP stated what the woman said and did and it was obvious she was interested in one thing. Submissive men with money to hand over to her without anything given on her part unless they did as she said... then I don't know what the deal was because that wasn't information that was given. On the information given, it isn't hard to see what her interests were.

Yup, but set up as a sort of 'sub-training' outfit. Hell do they make you feel special. That bit more special, that bit more, your head's now at full inflation - and then, pop, it's 'front us the money' time.

In fairness, some don't call them a con outfit but . . . how shall I put it . . . their techniques are precisely those of some of the best con artists I've seen. I have suggested before that they might want to change said techniques lest they, tragically, get mistaken for con artists.

Did you ever ask her out for a drink or dinner?  Or did you just ask if she would beat you, than put you away in a corner?   I don't know how you approached her, and how it came to be that she wanted $250 before agreeing to meet you.  
I know a lot of men send their menu/list in, and it would seem only fair, that some women respond with their menu/list.    M

I had told her it was quite a bit of money for "consideration" and she said it was not a lot of money for a one-time tribute.  But no, I didn't mention dinner.

It's readable...but from what I've read from Dommes won't be terribly effective. Check out the FAQs and threads in this section and especially posts from LadyPact and LadyNTrainer, who made some particularly good suggestions recently that I can't find.

Are they supposed to be a charity then? Or is it labelled as a business?

ETA: That's not a piss-take, BTW - I genuinely don't know how they're "pitching" themselves.

Wow, had no idea people would start arguing and bickering.  People thanks for your advice.  It's unfortunate some  have to throw in their little insult jabs at me but I am finding it all entertaining.

Is it really this difficult to find a domme to serve?
