This problem is not as uncommon as you may think especially for us old farts... There are number or reasons why as men age their libido may decrease. This is not due to impotence. The desire, the need is still there. Errestions stilkl happen but nowhere as often as they should and semi erections are more common (No hard enough for penitration). For personal satidfaction, sometimes a good head job will be fine.... Just remember that any frustration you feel is nowhere as much as the guy will probably feel. A lady can at least find a fully working male and have her brains bonked out is she is so inclined. For bloke, he will often feel less than a man, suffer depression and in at least one case which I attended professionally, sucided because he was not able to satify his girlfriend.. Dear youngsub22, Ladies and Gentlemen;

Indeed medical knowledge has increased a lot--seems male issues get most of the attention and, the invention of Viagra is one of them.

I am of the thought, of one particular swinger male, that mentioned he had a penis pump as to pump in the needed blood and erection was achieved but, he had to act quickly. It was better than applying popcycle splints to the member or, if a bit longer --chop sticks. Some use a strap on, placing their soft member inside the hollow and even comes with a battery operated squirter so, it feels like he came.

Ask him to make an appointment with his doctor to find out. Nothing wrong with finding out, it could be something as simple as depression or any medications he may be on that are decreassing his drive and leading to that.

You can always start off with asking how his day was, and expressing that you are concerned for him and would like to talk with him about your concerns. Any reasonable top will listen and address your concerns to put you at ease, especially if its a committed relationship. I know you mention this is a new relationship, but it never hurts to show concern.

Actually Kevin, your not quite right there. There is no cure for diatetes. It can be controlled and whilst I'm not full bottle with insulin dependent or type 1 diabeties, I am very conversent with type 2 which is both ,medication and dietry controlled. It still in many cases does not do a great deal to help with poor circulation which is one reason that amputations often occure. Obviously bad circulation decreases erections.... Viagra may help on occasions but for us here in Aussie they are something like AU$90 for 4 tablets and in some cases the nitroglycerine tablets or sprays for angina can help also but again expensive..

Quite so old friend. The only time I have a problem in that department is when the back has a rough patch and I have to resort to the stronger pain meds. But as I said earlier, the worst thing you can do is worry about it, plently of fun can be had by all if you just stop worrying about that one single aspect.

Lady Bug and Iron Bear have similiar outlooks to the dilema that, I faced with a huge influx of males begging to serve Viking House. I can think of several Dominant men i know who are impotent, so this is not uncommon at all. And yes, there are some great treatments for it... some take pills, others use injections to attain erection. But, impotence can't always be "cured."
Sometimes there's so many things going on, particularly with middle aged and older men, that the standard treatments don't work... i.e. a combination of diabetes, high blood pressure and exposure to agent orange.
The key here is to remember that no. 1, there are so many other ways to attain sexual satisfaction besides intercourse.
And most men, even if they can't achieve erection, CAN occasionally still reach orgasm.
