I've always thought of myself as exclusively submissive since I discovered D/s and kink, and I'd thought I found my comfortable place, but now everything is changing and I don't know what to think. I'm totally confused! Over the past quite awhile, I've been getting this every-so-once-in-awhile Toppy itch. I'm totally submissive with a man & I'd never want to Domme Daddy, but now I'm having all these new ideas and feelings coming up. I'd like to tie up and flog someone, do all sorts of sensual(but not sadistic) things to drive her silly, and I'd love knowing I'm the cause of all those good sensations. So....

Am I becoming a switch?
How do I know?
Is it possible for a bisexual to be submissive with men but Dominant with women?

I guess I shouldn't get so anxious about it all, but this is all new to me.

I don't think anyone who tops call it 'getting toppy' so I'd go on the assumption you're still a sub if I were you

Why not experiment a bit and find out how you feel afterwards? There are more than a few folks around these parts who identify as a switch who have dominant partners they submit to and a 'pet' on the bottom end of things to 'play' with.

Think of it this way, it's like living in a house and discovering a new room...no one is going to force you to move in and make it your own. You can choose to either take a step inside and have a look around...get a feel for the place, or you can just shut the door and focus on enjoying the rest of the house as you always have.

You're right, though, you don't need to get anxious about it.

Of course, I decided to have a seat in the comfy chair over by the window...just to lurk and watch for a bit...and the next thing I knew I was picking out new furniture and window treatments!

Be you. The labels aren't that important. I've known masters who bottom and slaves who top.

Daddy said He'd teach me how to handle a flogger and I'm learning about rope. Actually another sub I know wants to learn how too, so He's teaching us how on each other. lol This should be interesting.

I'll put in another vote for "be yourself".

I've given up on the labels altogether.

I'm submissive with my primary male partner, though I have tendencies towards sadism when sexually aroused with everybody, including when I'm actively being topped and dominated (so yeah I'll bite and pinch nipples despite getting my ass beat for it, not because I want to get my ass beat for it...)

I'm not sexually attracted to females, though I enjoy having sex with females to please men.
I generally have no sadistic tendencies towards females, but tend to be very domineering and micromanaging controlling with them.

I'm very sadistic towards some men, and very domineering/controlling with some men... but not at all with others, and whether or not I feel that way generally doesn't have anything to do with whether or not that man identifies as sub, vanilla or dominant.

So I don't really know what label to put on myself... both in the BDSM as well as in the sexuality department... so I stopped caring.

And life has become so much better/easier ever since I did stop caring... so I no longer see any sense in labels.
