Given the popularity that FukinTroll has on this site, I think perhaps I need to embrace that label--it might do me some good with the ladies.

FukinTroll has a picture on his profile sir [;)]

It's not just about the looks, sir. It's also the matter of having the confidence to post a picture of yourself.  Humans are instinctively visual creatures, and a pictureless profile is far more likely to get passed over.

Besides, you seem like someone who has spent a lot of their life transforming their body to the state that feels most right, and overcoming a lot of discrimination to get where you are today. Why hide what you've put so much effort into? Are you worried about being recognised by someone you know ?

One of the risks of putting a photo online is that once it's out there....it's out there.  My job is high profile--and I've worked exceptionally hard to obtain where I am today in my career--I simply won't risk losing all of that by posting a photo.  IF I can get a photo that masks my identity, I'll post it but I'm in no big rush.

So far, I don't seem to have the same obstacles that some of the other subs on CM post and complain about.  I've met a number of very wonderful Dommes and Doms who I play with on a regular basis, and for now, that's enough for me.

Vindictus -> RE: Your thoughts on trans subs? (2/16/2011 7:09:08 PM)

K, let me see if I can answer a few of these-

A CD is a member of an alternate gender, which is even more confusing and inscrutable than the traditional two to those of the traditional two. Someone who is fully transgendered, on the other hand, falls firmly into whichever group they are modified into. Except for D-Girls, which are yet another gender. And then you have eunichs.... Gah! Too many genders to keep straight. MOVING ON-

... Er, I forgot the other questions. Will check back and answer them later.

Edit Paste-Okay, the previous answer was apparantly for an amalgamation of questions one and two I got into my head somewhere that wound up turning into 'What genders do you recognise as being distinct'. And I think there are one or two I missed, such as hermaphroditism... Anyway, to answer Q1- Yes, I veiw them as distinctly seperate, TG is someone who got born in the wrong body and has fixed the problem while CD is someone who dresses up for thrills. Honestly, I would treat any TG about the same as I would someone born of that gender, unless the change was incomplete. As for 2, a MtF is a female who has issues that make her incapable of bearing children and who might or might not need to take medicine, and I can't think of any reason to treat someone like that different then any other woman. IDK, I've never really looked into or thought about the matter before. Skipping three because I don't have any interest in a male sub, and onto Q4-
How do you view cd and femi*zation from fetish standpoint- Er, I acknowledge that there is such a fetish but find nothing interesting in the concept.
Now as for q5, 'Other concerns'- Er, can't think of any. Except different body mechanics of course, and questions of the surgeons ability.

Cool discussion, TY OP.

I love the transgendered on any level. Why? B/c as a general rule, these are people who have had to come to serious terms with "what is male?" and "what is female?" And I am talking terms that go way beyond simple plumbing. We are all so much more than our plumbing. The opportunity to face the day to day issues that would evolve around this very basic question both fascinate and challenge me.
