Just when East / West understanding and misunderstanding is at the fore, I happened upon a music video by an admired Turkish pop musician, now, I knew the song, but I had not seen the video before, but when I did, I was almost shocked with surprise at the amount of kink suggestion there was in it, and this is a music video for a Turkish musician made in Turkey, you know one of those countries that have Muslims in it as a large and influential part of the administration.

I was looking for this one for other reasons, but as usual even when one knows often it is hard to find
But what exactly do we know about Middle Eastern countries, are the more secular marring our understanding of what happens over there, are we tarring them all with the same brush ?
(Yeah, I now Turkey is not exactly Middle Eastern due to it's location, but it is up there with other Muslim countries)
Simarly look at other music genres in Muslim countries ;
Shaabi, Rai etc
