Learn to talk like a human being, then go to a munch, then observe knife play in the dungeon. When someone who tops knife play on a regular basis is able to converse with you, and take you seriously then consider actively learning knife play.
Seriously dull blades are dangerous? Yeah, a butterknife can be a dangerous weapon in the hands of a complete moron.
The knives in the bedroom are moderately sharp, and yes before I was comfortable playing w/ them in the dark they became, "an extension of my very being".
When we finally get around to having machete fights, they'll be super dull.
However, our scalpels are always surgically sharp and always come out fresh from their sterile packaging.
There is a knife for every occasion.
