Well, since I've now been in my very first 24/7 relationship for nearly two full months, I can tell you that not much changes except you get laid more, spend less time online and rent is cheaper. [:)]

I want to see a fly on the wall doc of some people who supposedly live the lifestyle(lol) 24/7.
Maybe we could see a Dom beat his scrambled eggs into submission. After that we could watch him lose his job as he couldn't cope with not being the boss, and after drowning his sorrows we could be amazed at his attempts to handcuff the cops who try to arrest him.
Does anyone really life the lifestyle 24/7 as so many suggest they do?

To be honest, I can't imagine anyone living 24/7 solo, without a partner, as you have attempted to represent.

Also, note that your hypothetical Master is unable to accept any degree of control from anyone but himself.  That's counter to the self discipline required to get through life.

But why are you concerned?  You live in the cyber realm - why look down on those who live in the realm of real life?

Betya he is living 24/7 with his Mommy and Daddy and stll has highschool to go through.. Wonder if his Mommy and Daddy n are his owners and do kinky things to him like making him do home duty chores or even bath and cleans his toofy pegs daily..Is he potty trained properly yet ????? I wonder.. Does he have a cage or is his home in the basement?

Yes, but not the lifestyle you're imagining. I live a life. I wake up in the morning. I get stuff done. Then I go to bed. In that life I have a slave. More specifically, that means a woman who'll obey the commands I give her. Needless to say, owning a slave takes some of the burden off of all that "life" stuff.

IronBear -> RE: a day in the life of a 24/7er? (3/7/2011 9:15:42 AM)

What slave ownership taketh of the "life stuff', The great Goddess of slaves giveth back in the additional responsibilities and caring and just being more sexually worn out..

Nope.  He's 43.  No parents in the picture, but a wife would not surprise me.

For a guy with "cybermaster" in his name you are awful critical of one who lives his life 24/7 out in the open and has for almost as many years as you've been alive.

edited to add; Please not to pick on our resident handsome Aussie.

My last post idiot was not for you. What on earth makes you so important that I would waste any more time on such as you?  It was indeed a response to leadership. Jeff is someone who I hold in high regard and respect well.I would add to this, my "Tag philosophy or noted person who Line" hold up under all forms of inspection and have yet to fine any disagrees with me in that matter. You sirih, just show you ignorance.

get up before master or when he does, unless he says i can lie in. get coffee, put out his clothes wash up, take him to work (if a work say) housework or tasks or what i need to do. meet him for lunch, come home carry on with things. meet him from work, take his boots off, get coffee lots of getting coffee, cook dinner wash up, relax at his feet maybe read make models go on computer what ever i fancy to do he does what he needs or wants to do usually involving the pc and music. run the bath, bath him , have bath myself, give the cat treats, oh yes feed the cat in teh day too. and cuddle up with him at night. during the day i text if i want to go out and when i get home. ask to get into bed the bath leave the room etc. non working days similar but lots of relaxing or going out. lots of cuddles every day

love it and yes some nights we get to play i can ask but often wont be played with the day i ask as he chooses when and what.

I thought about giving a run down of a day here but the op doesn't deserve it. He's rude and therefore not worth answering.

No. I only breathe for one hour in every twenty four.
Call me a cold blooded lizard if you dare.......

we could call you myfanwy  (or however it's spelled :)

IronBear -> RE: a day in the life of a 24/7er? (3/8/2011 5:54:19 AM)

Paham mae dicter, O Myfanwy,
Yn llenwi'th lygaid duon di?
A'th ruddiau tirion, O Myfanwy,
Heb wrido wrth fy ngweled i?
Pa le mae'r wên oedd ar dy wefus
Fu'n cynnau 'nghariad ffyddlon ffôl?
Pa le mae sain dy eiriau melys,
Fu'n denu'n nghalon ar dy ôl?

Why is it anger, O Myfanwy,
That fills your eyes so dark and clear?
Your gentle cheeks, O sweet Myfanwy,
Why blush they not when I draw near?
Where is the smile that once most tender
Kindled my love so fond, so true?
Where is the sound of your sweet words,
That drew my heart to follow you?
Pa beth a wneuthum, O Myfanwy
I haeddu gwg dy ddwyrudd hardd?
Ai chwarae oeddit, O Myfanwy
 thanau euraidd serch dy fardd?
Wyt eiddo im drwy gywir amod
Ai gormod cadw'th air i mi?
Ni cheisiaf fyth mo'th law, Myfanwy,
Heb gael dy galon gyda hi.

What have I done, O my Myfanwy,
To earn your frown? What is my blame?
Was it just play, my sweet Myfanwy,
To set your poet's love aflame?
You truly once to me were promised,
Is it too much to keep your part?
I wish no more your hand, Myfanwy,
If I no longer have your heart.
Myfanwy boed yr holl o'th fywyd
Dan heulwen ddisglair canol dydd.
A boed i rosyn gwridog iechyd
I ddawnsio ganmlwydd ar dy rudd.
Anghofia'r oll o'th addewidion

A wnest i rywun, 'ngeneth ddel,
A dyro'th law, Myfanwy dirion
I ddim ond dweud y gair "Ffarwél".

Myfanwy, may you spend your lifetime
Beneath the midday sunshine's glow,
And on your cheeks O may the roses
Dance for a hundred years or so.
Forget now all the words of promise
You made to one who loved you well,
Give me your hand, my sweet Myfanwy,
But one last time, to say "farewell".

Myfanwy (a woman's name derived from annwyl, ‘beloved’) is a popular Welsh song, composed by Joseph Parry and first published in 1875. Parry wrote the music to lyrics written by Richard Davies ('Mynyddog'; 1833–77). Some sources say it was written with Parry's childhood sweetheart, Myfanwy Llywellyn, in mind, although the lyrics were probably inspired by the fourteenth-century love-story of Myfanwy Fychan of Castell Dinas Brân, Llangollen and the poet Hywel ab Einion. That story was also the subject of the popular poem, 'Myfanwy Fychan' (1858), by John Ceiriog Hughes (1832–87). (Wicci)

i do not live one now but was fortunate enough to live as a 24/7 slave. i think you would be amazed how boring that would be to watch all the time. A typical evening would find my MASTERS watching TV while i am scrubbing bathrooms.

As in any relationship, a routine develops. OF course there was the bondage, discipline, being used to service a sexual whim. I guess how interesting it would be would depend on the times the fly alighted on the wall

Of course they do. Just because they don't go around beating on their chests, and stamping their feet in tantrums does not mean that they aren't dominant men and women who like things to go their own way.

The difference is that they are mature adults who know how to fit their personalities with their public and private lives.

Not me, never have never will. What I do is not a "lifestyle"...its just life. I am what I am 24/7...its not something I put on when I switch the laptop on. Its what I am.
