i dont have a problem giving out my msn - i made an account specifically to use with folks from CM, equally anonymous as my CM name. so if im not busy in here, and i like the person (i.e. they are funny in some way) and they ask - sure why not.

I chat back and forth through cmail for about a week or so, if it seems to be going somewhere, then I've got an anonymous yahoo set up that doesn't include my last name. I always used an initial only for that part. If it progresses from there, then it's onto the phone then a r/t meet if the distance isn't too great.

Thank you for pointing this out. i don't wish anyone to pay money for me. That makes it all the better. i can pay for myself and what i would like done. i think it's more a matter of finding someone who likes to do these things and it makes the happy or gives them pleasure.

i wondered if ppl would automatically think i wanted someone else to pay for breast implants and hormones. i don't.

When i speak to a person that's uncomfortable leaving this venue my thinking runs along a certain line and i start to wonder if they have something to hide. And because i'm truly single and really live alone i don't have a problem providing an email address or conversing on the telephone because no one's monitoring my behavior. However, that isn't the case for some of us.

Also, some people would prefer to do this back and forth thing forever and a day. As if you have nothing better to do with your time than log into CM. But they aren't truly looking, or shall i say, in the manner that genuinely follows with some measure of activity.

i'll give you an example. i have been emailing with someone and thought it was going to lead to meeting. He sent me pics and said they were of him. Unless John Turturo is his twin brother, i don't know why he had to lie...

*lol* Unfortunately i've spoken to someone on here that did the same. i was rather amused that he sincerely thought i believed the image was of him. But then again, most aren't aware of my passion for photography. i'd encountered the image years ago on another website and i highly doubt he frequented that venue. But alas, some people's children.

I personally just prefer my chat client. It uses less resources than the chat function on the site, and I've often got way too many tabs open to begin with. My chat window can sit right there off to the side, and I can work on other things while chatting, such as research and what have you, without having to switch tabs every 3 seconds to reply, then figure out where I was before.

I also like aim/msn/etc... because I can stay logged on there 24/7, and even if I'm not there, someone can leave me a message if need be. Just my opinion on it though.
