Hello: My name is Californiabeauty. I have a question...Are there any real, genuine, male Doms looking for a sensual, warm, giving genuine submissive in the San Diego, Chula Vista, east county area??? After months and months of looking, I am coming to the realization they are all on the east coast, out of the country or in Canada...they are gay, barely over the age of consent, or into very painful play...Just had to vent...

You've been looking for 'months and months'....seriously, that's not unusual.

It took me 5 years to find Master, and I know others who are still looking now after many years of looking.

If you're looking exclusively on here then it's going to take a long time. Why not increase your chances by looking at a local club or munch too?

Hello Very Frustrated orrrrrr CaliforniaBeauty......please make up your mind which one. At the ripe young age of 62 one would assume you would be wiser and less whiny.

Hello and don't feel badly about the need to vent my dryer has the same experience. Others have given you some great suggestions and advice if you decide to act on them....attend munches, become pro-active, involve yourself more on site (s) or just move. Whatever option you pick....I hope you enjoy your time here on CollarMe. You might want to consider becoming active on the forums...and allowing people to "get to know the real you" as well.

Welcome to the boards.  First rule of thumb?  Learn patience.  Second rule of thumb?  Remember that your rant is a permanent imprint now.  Meeting someone online has on a few occasions been within a few days. That's not the norm.  It can take years.  Don't settle, wait for the right man.  And yes, there are straight male Doms out there and here.

Join in the forums, get yourself known, be positive and make friends, there's some great people on here.  Some of whom have already given you great advice above my own post.  Don't settle just because you don't think you'll meet the man of your "dreams".  When you least expect it, someone will come along.

Welcome to the forums! IMO, you have been given some good advice. Relying on any online site is not the best way to meet people. You will have more success if you join in, both on the forums and in the RL community.

I have been on this site for a long time, but in this general market for a much longer time. If it weren't for these pesky standards I am sure I could be living in a designer refrigerator box with some sleaze as we speak.

Calf. Beauty not that you care, just a vent post but with in a few years of CM first going live it was pretty much scoffed upon by the kink community as a viable life style web based socializing tool. Why it still exists is a good question. Maybe like that pathetically bad signer on Star search that as a goof was voted number one, it is the same mind set with CM.
