I wondered if some of you lovely people could help me with something rather strange. I'm in a relatively new relationship with Master, and we are playing increasingly hard (I'm a serious masochist). Last time we played, I was caned pretty mercilessly and spent a lot of time screaming and crying. Anyway, after we'd finished and were snuggling, Master remarked on redness around my eyes. I thought nothing of it, as I was rather hot and sweaty and...well...lol But in the morning when I looked in the mirror, I was surprised and rather worried to see a large number of very tiny red marks all round my eyes (although mainly underneath), extending down my cheeks and up to my hairline. The best way to describe them would be 'almost-but-not-quite bruises'. They're that reddy-purple colour that you get when you hit yourself quite hard, but it doesn't turn into a proper black and blue bruise. My first thought was these were petechial (sp?) haemorrages that I've read about in numerous serial killer novels, where the victim is asphyxiated. We didn't do ANY breath play at all, and he only slapped me once lightly across the bottom of my face. Can anyone shed any light on this? Has anyone else had the same thing happen? Is there anything I can do to prevent it happening again, or to minimise the after-effects so I don't get adverse comments from colleagues/family? Thank you!
