1. Where would I take him?? He's not even old enough to drink or get into most places I would probably want to go.

2. He's the same age as my daughter. It would feel creepy and I'd want to treat him like my son instead of my lover.

Yes. if I found them to be mature and funny and interesting, in and out of bed, I would, though I prefer full on partners, not just fuck budies or flings to be 21 and over so we can legally go to bars and clubs and stuff. There;s a few 18 and over groups, that I could reasonably go to if we wanted to go bdsming, and I'm only 28, so 19 isn't to far of an age gap, unlike my partner now who's 11 years older than me.

Even those who're ourselves not that far from 19? Sure 19 was 9 years ago for me, so not quite so recent, but I like to think we can avoid vauge pot shots at the intelligence of someone who dates someone else of a certain age. or any other criteria.

I dated someone who was deformed and by most people's standards hideous and retarded when I was 16, now true we were both in group homes and could only see each other at school and hardly any time else, so not really dating, but we had a relationship and built it, and didn't see any one else, if you can call what we could do, seeing others,

but why not make a unfounded pot shot at the fact I dated someone who was, for all intents and purposes, deformed from a birth defect and slightly retarded, while you're classing those who'd date an 19 year old as "most of them un intelligent"

I'm not looking to fuck or be in a relationship or anything else with anyone at all let alone a 19 yr old.

I don't have interest in women, old men, those of a different nationality, red heads, those who are overweight, underweight or short either.

so yeah, I'm lots of ists. That's my perogative as it is yours.

Definitely not a 19yo. I had a 10year +/- rule; but have in the last 3 years changed my mind to, old enough to believe he couldn't be my son (26+) when I was 18. [8D] M

Can you also say that it's a matter of personal attraction preference and opinion, and not 'ageist' at all?
I don't believe the original question had very much to do with simple 'friendship', as it were.. which, that being said, having friends of all age groups is in fact pretty awesome.

I am not interested in men who are younger than, or shorter than, me. That's MY shit to deal with. Nobody else has to like it, accept it, or even have an opinion about it, because I don't care. My fling... I get to pick the details that surround it, and it's not gonna be with a 19 yr. old BOY!!! (or girl)

I did have a fling with a 19 year old who looked like Rob Lowe...when I was 29. It was delightful and it turned into a year long thing.

Then I met my ex boyfriend who is much younger than me and we were together for a very long long time.

I don't seek out a particular age but I do not rule it out either. I don't feel like a cougar; I feel like a woman who responds to a man, whatever his age, who responds to me and if that creates a chemistry, then the number is not going to deter me.

Nope.  I actually met an 19 year old from here a few years ago and  thought I'd give it a go.  Played with him a couple of times.  He even came posting here asking advice on how to get me to be with him.  The creepy factor was just WAY too much for me.
