Where the heck did March go?

Not much has changed for me; I'm still temping and trying to squeeze in some writing time. No kink life to speak of since we're still waiting on the tax refund so we can get the car fixed. I'm also still working on putting together the materials for another photo shoot. I can hardly wait for the weather to turn nice on a consistent enough basis that I can get outside to do yard work and exercise. We had snow last week and I am officially DONE with winter. Now if only winter would pack up and leave.

Not much going on except I finally seem to be getting rid of a cough I have had since boxing day !

Got a full dance card now--I'm cleaning for a very close friend (non-kink) who has cancer, so twice a month I go and clean his place. (his wife can't do it and he really needs a clean environment after the chemo) They are complete clutter bugs so it takes twice as long as normal. I've started cleaning once a month for the local Domme, and I hope I can continue but I'm starting to run low on time. My parents asked for my help to paint their house. I would never dream of saying no. Come to think of it....there go all my April weekends!

I met Maxsboy/Fox for dinner this month and it was really fun--hope to do it again soon. Proof that real live people do exist on CollarMe, in spite of what all the whining HNG's say.

And my job is kicking my ass which is a pity, because that's the job of a Domme!

Ok, where to begin... march sucked, hands down. Long story short, Im getting kicked out of my home in May. Basically, what happened is that Im sick of the 'rents treating me like Im a kid. So, I decide to sit down for a nice, rational, honest and mature talk, and see if we can work out a compromise. Works every time right? Wrong. Theyve told me that since I have a problem with their morals, I have 6 weeks to move out. Great parenting there

However, this has motivated me to get off my ass and do what I want to do. Im going to be transferring to Columbus, and to Ohio State in the fall. I cant stand living here anymore, to be completely honest. This is going to turn out good for me, I think. No, I know it will.

I am sure that things will work out for you geoff. Hopefully your parents will get their heads out of their butts soon.

The end of March was very busy - puppies have been growing, kittens finally arrived, audits coming up at work (one is over, one is still on the way) ... But April is looking up.

I have a 2 week vacation - one week of which I'm spending in MI with family ... and maybe visiting a friend or two that I've met here on CM. Puppies should be ready to go to their forever homes around Easter. Kittens ... well ... kittens are still going to be a source of stress for a bit, because they are so small, so I'm worried about them - but Gwen is taking good care of them, so they should be ok.

March was a good month for me. I've been working my buns off. The weather is changing and I can get out on my bike again, and that's a joy. My thyroid meds are being changed, and I have gobs of energy - that makes me so happy. I feel like I'm able to be the person I am. I've found a farmer's market not far from me where I can buy veggies really cheaply, and I am now cooking! YAY! I moved into a new apartment. I've been meditating a lot and got some clarity. That's about it.

Two weeks left of the tax season! It's been a slowwww season, so the pace has been relaxed, but I will be glad when it's over just so I can have my evenings back!

The contract is not signed, but if all goes as well as it has I will be the owner of my own tax & accounting service June 1. I am excited/happy and feeling on the right track for the next 20 years. I turn 48 on the 13th, and it's time to be all responsible and such. I have been slacking the past few years, and I juzt don't do well at collecting a paycheck with no control or responsibility. (Surprise :) )

Kink = 0. This continues to be a wise choice. A friend has started a private club, and I will attend there, but stepping back from the local scene has gi ven me rest and perspective. I just don't care about the factions and fighting. I ama leatherwoman, that doesn't mean I have to be a participant in BS. Yay me!

Oh my gosh.. I'm so busy... let's see.. March.. darling dear boy ended up at the cardiologist.. but I was right.. panic attacks and too much stress at work.. she does have a mild and not bad arrythmea (spell?) but nothing too bad. We had a month of tests.. and blood draws and doctor's appts... luckily that's over.. at the beginning of March we joined a gym... a hella expensive one but we're in heaven. We have a raquetball date twice a week, I get to swim and in between we're using lots of cardio equipment and doing weight work. I haven't lost much weight in that time.. about 5 pounds but I continue to be hopeful on the weight loss.

We also made a plan to get to Thunder this year in Denver -- so we've got a longish western vacation planned, starting with a great leather event that I haven't been to in many years.. we're also looking forward to CLAW this month, and with any luck the weather will cooperate enough so that we can ride our bikes...

I continue to be amazingly busy... but its all good...

Ahh... April!... That magical month when a young man's thoughts turn from skiing to Fire Season!

Hello All.

I am jazzed this Spring! I am entering into a relationship (FemDom of course); and, It's really exciting. Fortunately, she seems content to ease into things with me.

Everything else is still a struggle; but, I cane smile. I reckon that that is half the battle.
