Well, ChatteParfaitt your words are taken to heart. I do not have any children. I am merely exploring my desires at this point. Hoping to join a community that seems more inline of who I am as a person. I'm feeling free-er....more relaxed.....less tense....in knowing who I really am and that these feelings that I have are valid.

Anyone that has been in a relationship for more that 10 or so years realizes that people change over time. Perspectives, attitudes, and personalities change, grow, and mature. Sometimes they grow to complement and other times they clash, hard.
I'm going through this to say that it is what it is. Like it or not, I'm here. Approve or not, I'm here. I have my issues at home to work out. Connecting with who I really am my improve things at home or move me to change things at home. This remains to be seen.

Whew! Didn't know I would be going to therapy just by saying HI! to a like minded group of individuals. Peace!

A one sided therapy session held by someone who has no idea who you are or what your situation is beyond the fact that you happen to be married. Which I find rather comical. I wonder if she charges a normal hourly rate or if she charges more for the blatently wrong assumptions she makes.

Apparently you've a vested interest in this particular cheater. Or feel he cannot defend his shitty behaviour himself and needs a champion.

Regardless....I am going to guess his wife will be thrilled when she discovers his antics.

And apparantly I could give a rats ass if you or anyone else thinks I have a vested interest in him or not. I happen to think that everyone has a right to try and find a piece of happiness and if his situation isn't for you then simply move on. I also think that considering how he has been attacked on this thread he has handled himself pretty damn well.

My oh my, I seem to have an admirer. I am well aware I am not everyone's cup of tea, nor do I wish to be. I am sure there are those who find me arrogant and judgmental -- b/c on some issues at least, I am exactly that. I will never apologize for having standards.

I would apologize for being arrogant, but I am just naturally humble that way and it wouldn't come across as real and true.

For the OP: I must apologize as you clearly got in the middle of a "disagreement" between people, when all you were trying to do was intro yourself. And though I do not know you personally, I did read your profile and a bit of your journal, and you come across to me as a good person trying to do the right thing.

Hopefully, the OP is still here (even though we have been kicked out of the bar

) because he has a point. In a way, I was in his shoes less than 3 years ago, so I'll not slam him for wanting to explore and find out if WIITWD is his path.

I was married when I joined, and very upfront about it in my profile. Like the OP, I wanted to learn and interact with others, to see if this was what I really wanted.
As it happened, my marriage was in its death throes, but that really doesn't make a difference, now does it? I was here.
