When I see "massages" mentioned in the 'interests,' or anywhere else, what I think of is the type of deep massage people go to masseuses for. I will do that for someone if asked, but I don't think I'm very good at it and it doesn't take long at all for my hands to get tired and sore. I do enjoy just running my hands over a person's body. Recently, a few guys have commented on it, and their wording indicated that they consider what I do a massage. I asked one directly, and he confirmed that was what he meant.

Another asked me to massage him last night. I started out just running my hands over his body, intending to throw in as much of the deep massage as I could. His moans indicated that there was no need, I was already doing just what he wanted. Then he fell asleep. That made it clear enough.

Do most people view it the same way? I don't want to say that I enjoy giving massages, have people expecting deep massages, only for them to be disappointed by what I do. But if just running my hands over the body is considered a massage, I definitely want to make it known that I enjoy doing it. That type of tactile experience has a je ne sais quoi that I just love. It doesn't have to lead to sex, or be any part of a sexual experience, but I prefer that it is.

I think 99% of people just mean fairly firm-handed rubbing of the body as opposed to anything more intensive. It's as much a form of bonding as an actual panacea to the muscles.

People tend to vary wildly in what they like in terms of massage. To my utter shock I have learned not everyone likes deep tissue massage. I love it, and am fortunate to have a sub who is excellent at giving me exactly the kind of massage I want and need.

I can relate to the "my hands get tired" as I have small hands and whimpy wrists. Because of that I have a number of wonderful massage devices I use. They are all (primarily) wooden, and relatively inexpenisive. It really helps me be able to prolong a massage. My Dom has a huge muscular back, and I would never make it all the way down his spine w/o these simple tools.

Also, a few good books on massage may help you skill set, your local library should have a wide selection.

I consider deep tissue and shiatsu massages to be painful and unenjoyable. I prefer the swedish massage which is the lighter massage.

Once upon a time, I thought about taking a massage class, but Master doesn't really care about it. He'd rather have me take a culinary course.

In my experience, most people are too rough when they try to massage, so I usually say "no thanks", unless they are a trained massage therapist. Or unless I'm already naked. Standards, yanno.

I had a massage on Monday at a local spa. It was nice and the lady asked if I wanted light, firm, or deep tissue. I said firm. It was good, considering I was like a piece of knotty pine when I went in. I wouldn't want deep tissue because I hear those hurt like hell, and the receptionist said that they weren't for relaxation, so it didn't suit my purpose. If someone doesn't know what they're doing and can't squeeze the way I like then I'm going to be miserable.

Master loves massages and it's a requirement with him. They aren't the type of massages of just running my fingers over him lightly. He enjoys the type you go to a masseuse, the firm to deep tissue type,  so that's what he gets from me. One day I'm sure he'll want me to learn even more professionally.

That's not to say he doesn't like the light touch either but overall it's almost always something to help get all the knots out of his muscles from a long night at work.

I enjoy massaging a woman with my tongue.

Service with a smile.

You could call what you do "sensual" massage to differentiate from Swedish or deep.

I like a massage to be so intense that I have to breath into it, cuz that's how I'm wired. I actually enjoyed rolfing.

When I give massage, I perform the Thai style, cuz Swedish wears out my hands too quickly.

I give him nice, long deep massages when ever he requests them.
It's probably more along the line of Swedish massages and they usually last an hour.
He always has me dress for him when I do and they always end in sex. Really fantastic sex.
The actual massage is probably just as enjoyable for me giving them as it is for him receiving them and I always look forward to them.

Although I could use one right about now since my neck is out of whack and my shoulder has been screaming for days due to a torn rotator cuff and the fact that I reinflamed three neck discs that I herniated about four years ago. The pain just travels right down my arm and wakes me throughout the night.

One of my ex's had recurring back problems, so as a birthday present to her, I bought a book on giving massages, so I actually knew what I was doing, instead of squeezing and pushing at random.

Me, personally, I do not like getting massages. Not sure why, just not my thing. No doubt my back could use it.
