He's on the previous page. I've not really met much of anyone on this site. I just created my account here. I came here hoping I might find a slave. I heard a lot of bad things about this site though. I heard it has countless fake profiles, excessive trolling, and a lot of elitist people. I'll reserve judgment for now. Everyone seems nice so far.

CollarMe has more than average because it is a free site. You have to take the bad to have the good. I met my husband here and we have been married for seven years. There are many others who have met their partners here, both short and long term. Hang in there, use common sense, and enjoy your journey!

I know that's one of those nebulous comments that people throw around once in a while, but if you look around, many people here have found what they seek. Many haven't. It really depends on how you use it and what you use it for. The 60 year old guy looking for a young hottie to hang on his every word will whine that he didn't get his wish fulfilled - a lot of people think that by signing up they are guaranteed a partner. Doesn't work that way, I'm sure that you know this already. This site is most successful I feel when it's used as a tool and as something you work at in a proactive way. Many people fail I think because they think the site will do the work for them and that's the first thing they blame when things don't happen for them but it's just one way to get yourself out there and you're the one who is responsible for weeding out the chaff. Yes, there are a lot of fake profiles. That's very common on any social networking site. There are trolls, there are elitists...once again that's part of the internet. It's just a site like any other. I've enjoyed my time here and met my partner here over 2 years ago.

What Lizi and Holly said. I've met more assholes on this site than any proctologist could hope to see in his entire career. But the secret is to ignore them and focus your energies on the good people - and there are many of them about [:D] And yes, I'm another one of those people who met their partner on this site!

I think as others have said, this site is a tool, nothing more, and there are, very real, very terrific people. So for those who whine, offer them cheese, to the rest invest your energy and your humor. Welcome, unless it isn't proper to welcome antisocialhermits and all.

And Holly, you go right ahead and try that meatloaf recipe....we still have the memories of you setting the stove/kitchen on fire, the stove that wouldn't fit thru the door, the reindeer you've killed, and with the exception of your most recent one, your many spills and thrills to sustain your sterling reputation! As for the OP, welcome to the insane asylum. Hang out here on the boards and really get to know people.....it's worked for many of us! We make great friends, and the lucky ones find their partners.
