Those Century Series fighters were all serious workhorses, and while the 100 was a great jet, I think my favorite out of that series is the F-105 Thunderchief. That plane just looks so badassed even on the ground and could deal an awful lot of hurt. Would've been a huge PITA to do a rescue on though (i'm a retired AF firefighter) much like the F-4 was. At least with the F-100 the intake is in the very front and easily avoidable.
