Hello Everybody,
I'm Beth, I work for Silver Moon - the company which publishes the Silver Moon range of books. We are looking for new writers all the time so if you have an interest in writing BDSM novels or short stories then please contact me.

lots of writers go through a site called duotrope to find places to submit to, the Silver Moon listing says you're not accepting:

also, a bit more submission info would help, some general guidelines perhaps?

That struck me too.  It is so out of character for publishers.   The slush pile is usually pretty full.  It would seem a general cattle call would be way out of character. For one thing, it would attract people who would make an all caps, public post of "I AM A WRITER"

Hi Beth,

How about giving an internet link to the Silver Moon book website? That would help authors learn more about the books you've already published. Who your authors are, what the authors will get out of it. Right now it looks like you're just some random person, pretending to be a publisher, looking for some free wank material.

Yes, because publishers are so desperate for writers that they will submit to your shout.... mm hmmm.

Thanks to everyone for their responses to my post, there are clearly lots of very talented people out there that we havn't reached yet and similarly some readers who don't know about us.

Just to bring everyone right up to date. Silver Moon (male dom titles) Silver Mistress (femdom titles) and Silver Mink (femsub titles) have been around for about 20 years but have recently been taken over by Cambridge House Publishing LLP who are putting lots of changes into place, including a brand new website which should be with us by about mid or late May. This gives us the opportunity to offer books in different formats and to make more short stories available.

Our books are currently available via a number of outlets, look for us on Amazon, or on WH Smiths Travel. If anyone is having problems finding our books or want to send us some work and would like our guidelines for authors then contact me [email address]
