Kidnapping Scenes - 5/9/2006 2:29:36 PM

Status: offline 		I recently had someone tell me that they'd like a kidnapping scene and I have no idea how to set this up.  Do I need a different place from where we usually play?  Do I need to tell them about a date and time or just snag them off a sidewalk?
This is something that I've got no experience with.  If somebody could help me out here, that'd be nice.

Status: offline 		sounds like fun.  i would think to keep it a "surprise"  snatch them from someplace different.  but make damn sure they know it's coming so they don't make a HUGE scene and people come running to save them (if it's public and in the daytime).  don't forget your hood and restraining gear .

First off, ask them what they mean by "kidnapping scene" and how it might come off.  Consensual nonconsent scenes are about the most likely to badly go south unless all envolved are on the same page.

One other thing, have a clear and unequivocal way for the kidnapee to signal that things aren't working and he or she wants it to stop.

Status: offline 		Location and people involved is critical.  Is she ok with being bruised and beaten if she struggles?  Is she ok with it being in a club where the play of it won't be an issue, or does she want to raise the risk and problem level by doing in vanilla public?

Kidnapping, probably more than almost any other type of scene, requires you to look at it from a person to person level as much as you look at it from a complete outsiders look.

More than anything, talk about it together.

Status: offline 		Yeah, that does seem like a "duh" sort of question.  Definitely going to have to talk it out with her.  And Loki's post is exactly the sort of thing she's talking about, except I'm assuming the time limit is much shorter.  I mean, I don't think I'd have the stamina to keep this up for two days, much less a week or a month.  B-12s are awesome, but that's a big trick. 

You guys are hitting on the parts of this that bother me in the logistical way.  How you do it without freaking out the neighbors, passersby, etc...   I'm afraid I"m going to have to get a warehouse or something.  Maybe my imagination is just bigger than my brain at this point.  I'm imagining like a corporate hostage situation out of Die Hard or something.  A helicopter is almost inevitable.  This just seems like a big, complicated thing here.  Yeah, I'm rambling, and yeah, I'm going to have to talk to her.  A lot. And my banker probably.

Status: offline 		We sort of have a local community.  It's basically me and five friends.  I'm thinking of trying to start a munch, but I've got a lot of other things on my plate right now. 

However, I am going to a munch Saturday with folks on the coast.  Apparently a much larger group.   And my last fortune cookie did say "Your fortune awaits you.  Your next trip to the ocean holds great potential."  Sounds good.  Really looking forward to that.

Status: offline 		Hmmm no offense MM but considering your level of experience and your age....I would recommend two things.....

one is find a DOM/DOMMEE to help you plan out the logistics of the scene - chances are they have done it and can tell you where the pitfalls are besides the obvious.....

two....its the unexpected that fuels the desire here for themI suspect....so rather than elaborate go basic....kidnap them in their own home, say the kitchen and hold them hostage in the livingroom, basement, bathroom, closet etc.....element of surprise and blindfolds are key here I think ;) doing it this way keeps your risk factor lower but satisfies the request.  If that goes well then down the road you can do it elsewhere.

Remmeber keep this in YOUR comfort zone above. And I'd like to echo everyone elses comments on Communicating openly and honestly with her.
