Status: offline 		Of course not, they merely have narcissistic tendencies and feel that they are usually correct. They would never have a need to, for instance, correct the spelling in the subject line of someone's thread, b/c the misspelling was driving them crazy.

Personally, I think dominants lean toward the Machiavelian.

To take a few quick definitions:
  • Extreme selfishness, with a grandiose view of one's own talents and a craving for admiration, as characterizing a personality type
  • Self-centeredness arising from failure to distinguish the self from external objects, either in very young babies or as a feature of mental disorder
  • inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity.
  • Psychoanalysis . erotic gratification derived from admiration of one's own physical or mental attributes, being a normal condition at the infantile level of personality development.
So basically the OP is asking if all dominants are selfish, self centered, overly fond of themselves and have an overblown view of their abilities? Perhaps it might have been better to ask if all dominants are into having a power trip, or amazingly egotistical.
