First, I had a gent with pierced nips and they took about 3 months to heal. First 2-3 weeks was the standard new piercing scenario. {one day they're fine, the next red/drainage, next day fine again.} Otherwise, no complications in the healing process. {I highly recommend H2Ocean products} Next, aside from the obvious {a twist/tug, chain, weights, bringing him to his knees/toes} my fun was found with ice and a hot lighter. You just have to move slow to ensure you avoid touching the flesh and touch only the metal. Otherwise, you're just freezing/heating the nip which they can quickly adjust to. It's a next level ache to have the pain originate with the metal and take it through the flesh. Last, make sure those things are cleaned well and daily. It takes about a nanosecond for them to get that funk nasty stomach turning "something pierced" stench. Best of luck.
