I have heard of ginger root being used in areas that can cause delightful effects and I am wondering if anyone knows how this is used or a site i can read more about it? Thanks

Well the wonderful art of FIGGING!!!

I love it and I am actually going to post on here how to do propper figging in just a second.
I have tried it many times and it works amazingly well, there are other things that make the areas tingle but ginger root is amazingly fun!!

I hope you enjoy it!

This is a pretty popular subject, hon... Go to the main forum page, and up top you'll find a link for "search". Go there and type in "ginger fig" and you'll get all the info you could possibly want. I'm sure some of our more knowledgeable folks will come along any moment now with some more useful links for you.

My only caveat is that ginger can be a major allergen. Make sure you or whomever the ginger is being used on isn't allergic. If you're unsure, try a "scratch test" by scraping the skin with a needle or some similar implement (the idea is to raise up a welt, not to draw blood) and then apply a small amount of the material to the scratched area. Check for hives, swelling, or any other symptom of an allergic reaction. If there is, wash the test area with soap and warm water Immediately. If not, have fun!

I keep threatening to tell a Mistress who plays with my roommate about ginger root. My roommate watches cooking shows a lot and every time ginger is mentioned I cackle maniacally.

There is a wonderful thread on gingeroot play that was started not too long ago in Ask a Mistress.

What is ginger used for.

And oh what fun!

I tried ginger after reading the other thread on it and loved it[:D]. I didn't experience any pain, just a pleasurable burning sensation. The same is true of "stripping" which you might want to try also:

I'm sure it was an oversite on your part, but when you post an article which you didn't write, you need to credit the author with the piece or at least put down that you are unaware of who wrote it. The way it's posted, one would assume it's your own work.

The Art of Figging was written by Master Michael ::and I'm the Celeste mentioned in the article :) ::

I wrote the original article a number of years ago and have updated it approximately three times since then. I am now working on the latest update which makes ginger root preparation even easier. I have also been asked to do a segment on figging for a British TV production firm working on a series about alternative lifestyles. I haven't made a decision on that yet.

The article appears on dozens of websites and I have never refused to give permission for its use as an educational piece. Most people ask permission first; however, if they don't, at least they give credit to the author. Copyright laws apply to publications appearing on the internet as well.

I noticed that someone posted an article so I don't have much to add except that it is something that I've found to be fun and really the burn isn't remotely unbearable.. its more like a nice warmth (and also unless you want it all over yourself, make sure you wear gloves and such).
