StTheo -> Safe Long Term Bondage (5/3/2011 11:58:22 AM)

This is only a fantasy of mine, and I won't be anywhere near ready to try this any time soon.

A fantasy of mine is to keep a slave locked in a bondage position for long periods of time (more than a few days). For both of us to get used to it, I would have her start small, like a half an hour or less. Eventually, after we had learned all we could from that, I would lengthen the period of time the slave was kept in bondage. Maybe double it each time we're ready. The final result (after months of practice and testing) would be a system that can keep a human being locked for days on end in a bondage position.

Concerns I can think of include:
- Nutrient intake
- Waste removal
- Maintaining physical, mental, and emotional stability
- Cleanliness

For a lot of this, I'd look into techniques used to care for people on bed rest or in a coma. I'd also need to find a way to keep someone watching her at all times. Basically, does anyone have any ideas on how to contribute to something like this?

(Ultimately, though, I think this will have to remain as a fantasy, for safety reasons.)

I believe you've answered your own question.

Some fantasies are best left fantasies.

Just read your profile along with this post. Real life and fantasy are totally different. Realistically, someday you will realize that unless you want no life at all, and instead want to watch out for and micromanage someone forever, you need to adjust to reality.

You are 21 years old. Forgive me for saying, you may think you want total control over someone 24/7 for the rest of their life; you don't. That's a (to you) lovely fantasy. Even if you could keep someone physically healthy, what about their emotional and mental health?

Humans are social creatures, they are not meant to be immobilized for long periods of time, like days, or weeks, or years.

Do some thinking (pls) about why this fantasy appeals to you so much. You could learn a great deal about yourself.

This is not a very realistic situation. You really did not state it but I am guess you want the person not to be able to move very much.

For extended bondage, the person would need to be bound in a natural position. Otherwise you will most likely cut off blood circulation after a period of time. You really do not want to damage body parts by cutting off their blood supply. Also if you are bound in an unnatural position, cramping can occur. You muscles are capable of tearing themselves or tearing ligament and tendons when a cramp occurs and the person cannot stand up or straighten a limb to relieve the cramp.

You would not be able to use rope, handcuffs and anything else that cuts off circulation. Joint damage can occur from handcuffs or rope digging into joints as well as causing circulation problems.

You will need to take care of the person and that means feeding them, keeping them hydrated and monitoring their vital signs. And at no time would you ever leave the person by themself. That means for however long you want you sub bound, you need to be with them. Medical emergencies, panic attacks, house fires etc do happen.

Good quality leather wrist and ankle cuffs with D-rings could be used to secure a person to a bed IE: spread eagle. There are also a variety of bondage outfits, leather or latex, that can be used to immobilized the body pretty decently without cutting off circulation.

For sanitary measures a diaper is an obvious choice. So you will need to changer thier diaper if you go that route.

I have done a lot of extended bondage. Going 24 hours is a lot to take totally immobolized. 36 to 48 hours is the most I would even attempt. And before you attempt something like that you need to have good knowledge of the body both physically and medically.

YOu also need to think about aftercare. This is both mentally and physically stressful on the person. They may be incapacitated to think logically or do phyiscal activites afterwards. This varies by person so you really need to know your partner. It may take a few hours to recover or it might take a whole day.

Did you read his profile? Through "intense hynosis" they will have no emotional needs and their mental health is of no concern. In the OP, he refers to care techniques for someone in a coma. I have to wonder if the OP actually has necrophilic tendancies. As you said, looking at why you would want someone to be that way can be very revealing.

I went back and read his profile. Now I wish of read before I responded. Definitely some issues there

mnottertail -> RE: Safe Long Term Bondage (5/4/2011 2:14:44 PM)

I'll chime back in, even though I didn't feel this was a legitimately serious poster--

Not only is the OP naive about BDSM and bondage in general, but he obviously is completely ill-informed about comatose/immobilized patients.  Patients in a coma don't just lie there.  It takes around the clock skilled care--officially, to prevent bedsores (a horrible, horrible condition--sometimes even fatal if the patients get septic--it's HORRIBLE.  If you've ever seen (or smelled) bed sores, then you know...) patients are supposed to be turned every two hours. Most can get away with 3-5 hours but officially it's 2.     Toileting a bedridden patient is not as simple as "throw on a diaper".  The patient (or in this case, the sub) cannot lie in their own filth--it is not only unsanitary, but unhealthy.  The bottom/sub must be cleaned up, "turned", and monitored for signs not only of emotional distress but physical distress (circulation, nerve, breathing, vitals, blood sugar, etc.)

I didn't read his profile--something tells me I don't want to-- but I hope and pray it STAYS a fantasy.  Otherwise, he should serve as a crash test dummy and serve as a test subject. Perhaps after the first few hours and he has pissed/shat himself, realizes that he is sore, irritated, chafed, hungry and ready to climb the walls.... maybe he'll get the picture that some fantasies belong as fantasies.

rhabdomyolysis....if you dont know what this is, the risk factors for it, how to prevent and treat it....don't even think of something so intense......you lack training, discipline and self awareness to carry this out......rhabdo is fatal!

hey bms--
I didn't even BOTHER to go into compartment syndrome....  this OP couldn't fathom it....I'm hoping he'll google bed sores and see enough to make him not want to pursue it further....

DesFIP -> RE: Safe Long Term Bondage (5/7/2011 9:04:43 AM)

Not only is this a total fantasy that cannot happen safely, but so is the rest of the profile. He proposes to eliminate a personality. Can't be done without the person winding up in a mental hospital. He proposes to keep the sub edged all the time so she is sexually focused 24/7 on having him. He knows nothing about female sexuality or he would realize that what will happen first is that she will stop getting turned on by him, and he will be unable to ever turn her back on.

Basically op, you have so much to learn it isn't funny. You propose to be an exceedingly cruel sadist yet don't speak about having learned how to inflict pain safely. Honestly, start taking workshops and get your life in order. If you become someone nice, maybe a nice girl will agree to play with you. But you've got a lot of growing up to do before you get to that stage.

Termyn8or -> RE: Safe Long Term Bondage (5/7/2011 9:36:18 AM)

Look Theo, it's time for me to talk. I was born and raised in and environment that would KILL you. You have no fucking idea. I have been kicked twenty feet across a room, shot in the face with a .38, and been in car wrecks that killed all the others. I have been in a 1976 Pontiac going 50MPH head on into a LARGE telephone pole on Brookpark road. I've stood so close to campfires that my clothes caught on fire. I've blown off fireworks in my hand.

But the longest I've ever done in bondage was fourteen hours. This was spread eagle on a bed, diaper and all. No escape. It was one hell of an experience.

Now I am dominant by nature, but there is one thing - I won't dish out what I can't take. As such I would never ask anyone to go more than that, in fact I don't think I would evern ask for more than eight hours. Eight hours is a shift at work for most people. I think that is reasonable. Well, kinda.

You wanna play for more than one day ? It can be done. Take her out of complete bondage, handcuff her behind her back and take her into the shower. Be very careful of course. Hose her down. Then return her to the position, and I recommend that position change. Something different. Maybe even worse. But out every day for the car wash.

It could work that way. If she wants this, fine, but nothing can indemnify you if you cause harm.

T^T
