Everytime I wash with dove my skin gets so dry my palms get ashy and dry looking. So much for their claims of moisterizing an stuff lol.

It works for me. I wonder if you are allergic or maybe you aren't drinking enough water? Just a thought.

I never liked Dove soap myself but mostly it was the smell of it but I didn't find it particulary that moisturizing either.....too soapy smelling mostly...I find the line of Olay soaps really good and they smell good too for a reasonable price....I love a certain soap from Italy but it is way too expensive right now and is made by a company called Rance (the acacia and honeysuckle ones are great!)...really good soap but like I said way out there price-wise...

Try Kiss My Face olive oil soap.  It works great on my skin.
After a shower I rub Palmers Cocoa Butter oil all over my body.  It absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling like silk.  Makes me smell like yummy cocoa, too.

I actually like the smell of Dove. But yes I can agree it might not smell the best to some people.


I'll check out the olay soaps.

I hate Dove soap and so does my skin.

I have a slight addiction to Lever 2000 body wash in the original scent......not always easy to find, and when I do, I stock up. I also almost always slather myself with Burt's Bees Body Butter after a shower. I smell yummy and feel even better.
