Exactly! What could be more bouncy and chirpy than that? Personally, I'm disappointed at VC not appreciating what a bundle of bubbly fun and warmth you are, CS. I have to say, she's getting very crotchety in her old age.

Not only can they open jars, but they are so good at getting the car when it's raining. And I love how silly they get when I wear a low cut top- all the sense just flies out of them!

And, I have to admit, a real cock does it so much better than those plastic and latex ones.

I was about to say, 'where is the background music for all this?'

On the sensation of body odor; I feel more flattered being complimented about my good BO than about that other thing. It works both ways, too; when in 'aftermath' mode I am almost snorting her hair as she has her nose digging into my chest. What's some oil in the face crawling under the car or sweeping leaves off of a three story roof anyways? When it works, it works. Good smarts are not an issue either. My former Phd Aussie GF made me play scrabble sometimes so she could enjoy kicking my arse, but I think she liked me because I never felt the need to 'get back' at her in another way. She could only half understand my explanations about sound and audio which she was interested in, or music, etc. For all of our smarts, we communicated in non-verbal ways a good portion of the time.

But back to the musical setting here:

If we get too sweaty about all this, we can always just jump into the shower, you know?

i think men make better friends than women. women are too competitive, theyll stab you in the back at a moments notice, or drop you like a rock when they think you might outdo them.

men accept you as you are, they make friends with the person you are rather than who they think you might be. men make friends because they like the person, women make friends for what the person can do for them.

I actually rather do. For all the reasons previously mentioned. {warmer of toes, slayers of insects, reacher of upper shelf stuffs, protecty nature, mechanically inclined, moderately non-clingy & generally emotionally stable, etc}
I would add how delightful they appear when emerging freshly scrubbed from the shower.

God I love the company of men...Every day I curse God for betraying me with my straightness.

If only I could learn to love to handle a cock other than my own I would be the happiest homoriffic camper in the world. Blow jobs during halftimes and anal to fill the gaps in between.

It's not that I dislike you purveyors of the poonanni...But you can be a tad bit vexing at times. When I finally go 'mo I am obviously going to have to team up with another straight queer like myself.

there will be no giving a fuck about the quality of the marble that makes up our kitchen counter or talk about attending a French Art Film Festival.

There will be talk about fishing, fucking, drinking beer and sports and then probably a little more more talk about fucking. We will play poker and smoke cigars.

Are steaks will be rare and our cocks will be worn.

God bless men and the United States of America.

As has been mentioned previously, men have their uses. A big BIG thing for me is a man who is intuitive and can read when his girl is distressed, happy, sad etc.

Indeed being a straight male can be a trying experience. Imagine if women were into cottaging and random serious fucking? What a happy world this would be. I believe straight men have a shorter lifespan: consider Plato (gay) vs. Aristotle (straight), Michelangelo vs. Raphael. However I thought a lot of gay men were into fashion, the theatre, interior "decour" (how the English want the greater than Great Britain "USA USA" to spell it) or maybe I'm a homophobic anglophobic asshole buying into the whole gay limp wristed cliche?

But seriously its interesting that most women posting here appreciate "men" for what they can do for them. I'm not critical of the OP - its a good thread but consider the title: "Do you actually quite like men" as if its the norm for women not to, and the feeling of liking is qualified. Maybe its time to start talking more openly bout what men dislike bout women?

It was in contrast to the two recent thread titles 'Do you have contempt for submissive males?' and 'Sub guys: Do you have contempt for dominant men?'. You completely missed the joke, but never mind.

ETA: also, it's 'decor' either side of the pond. And your assessment of gay men is insulting - I'd assume your own assessment of yourself as an asshole was pretty spot on.

Guess I have a sense of humour deficit because I still don't see quite how that is a joke...
