Careful there... the halo's slippi-- oh, hell and now you've bitten a great big hole in the middle of it.

Mmhm. That's cute. You wear it sideways just right and it looks exactly like a pair of ho-- ohhh, I see! That's the point. I've cottoned on to the way things are 'round here. Then again, given where the forum states you're "from" I shouldn't have been surprised. =P

You're welcome for the welcome (back)! [:D] And thank you, too.

Without sounding absolutely crude, or even remotely suggestive (unless that should happen to be your thing [;)]) I'm sure there's a great deal that you could teach.

Though I'm hopeless with maths... I think I've computed this equation without error.
Playful + smart + fun w/ a liberal peppering of dark and depraved = a very good time indeed

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 9:21:47 PM)

I'm going to have to do another photo shoot.  I need a school mistress outfit.

BendingGender -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 9:25:28 PM)

Pictures or it never hap-- er, you said photo shoot, didn't you? That sort of inherently implies there will be aforementioned pictures. Okay, I'll wait. [:D]

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 9:27:52 PM)

Heck, I'm still waiting for my buddy to finish processing the photos from the most recent shoot.  There's a pinup set still to come.

BendingGender -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 9:36:58 PM)

Well, rats. I guess I'll just have to sit here with a great deal of anticip----- ation. Or, y'know... get back to writing smut. I owe a friend of mine a bit of boy-on-boy deviancy.

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 9:46:27 PM)

I see you shiver with antici---

(Starts with a 'c'!)

Ooh...another writer.  Be still my heart.  [:)]

BendingGender -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 9:57:31 PM)

Ah, I stand corrected. As soon as I'd said it out loud I realized that I had erred.

And yes I'm another one of those pesky writer types... an aspiring author, even. [;)] I've got a few things that would be *done* and ready for bloody submission to publishers if I could just see to wrangling an illustrator. Er, not for the boy-on-boy business, though I would like to find an illustrator of another sort for those particular goodies.

But I've got four different works, in various stages, that are more suitable for mini humans. One of them is complete. One of them is almost there. The other two are... perhaps at the mid-way point. And, as I murder stick figures, none of them have anything but written descriptions for what I'd like to appear on the pages alongside the words.

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 10:06:49 PM)

Unless you're self-publishing, you don't need to find an illustrator.  Most publishing houses who deal with children's books have illustrators they like to use.  Just finish the manuscript and start sending out queries.  Don't worry about illustrations until you make the sale.

BendingGender -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 10:14:55 PM)

I'd pretty much gotten to that submit it and forget it point already, but it's good to have my suspicions confirmed regarding the in-house illustrators. The only reason I'd wanted to find an illustrator in the first place was to have some concept sketches done of the images I wanted. But I figured that if I could describe them in clear enough detail it wouldn't matter as much. And since I hadn't planned on going the self-publishing route I suppose I can simply start putting things in the mail now. Lots and lots and lots of things. And then sit back with my fingers crossed as I play the waiting game.

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 10:17:40 PM)

Hey, the sooner you start collecting rejection slips (and you will), the sooner you'll sell a book.  [:)]

BendingGender -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 10:25:52 PM)

Mhm. I'm ever so slightly tempted to keep each of the rejections in a box or drawer somewhere until I've managed to sneak it in under someone's radar. And then maybe do something ritualistic like burn them all after depositing my first check.

FelineFae -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 10:26:36 PM)

* opens an eye from the bednest *

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 10:29:50 PM)

I think most of us do something ritualistic like that.  I plan to make a carpet out of mine so I can walk all over them.

BendingGender -> RE: LOTPWins Part Deux (6/10/2011 10:32:54 PM)

Hah. Now there's an idea. I may just have to pilfer that thought -- and *then* burn them. A bit of an additional "up yours". Though... who knows... I might be feeling so pleased with myself that I'll just toss them all up into the air and make a great big mess. Note to self, find someone else to clean up the mess once I'm done having my fun.
