A pro domme is in it for the money,a lifestyle domme is in the ls for the love of it,a prolife style dommmes is a little of both.I hope this helps but as always just the views of this ol; Master..Bounty

Usually, not terribly much. There are pros who are strictly pros and are not dominant in their personal lives; they may be vanilla or submissive by personal preference and will only be dominant for money. There are lifestyle dominants who do not accept any type of money or compensation for scening; they are strictly non pro. Then there are folks like me who do some pro work and are also active in the BDSM community and dominant in their personal relationships.

Folks who follow my posts but haven't looked at my profile have often assumed I was entirely a lifestyler, as I am mainly here to chat about my home life as head of a poly O/p household. But I am also a professional, ergo I'd be in the latter category.

None of these categories makes someone better than anyone in a different category, so long as you are honest and up front about it and not lying to people or misleading them. It's a matter of personal choice.

Hi.

Each Mistress chooses to refer to herself in her own way but generally prodom is a professional Mistress who charges a fee for sessions whereas a lifestyle Mistress might not charge a fee at all but might have her slaves go to work for her. A pro lifestyle Mistress might do both; own slaves plus see slaves as paying clients.

For example at AcademyForSlaves we own slaves for free no charge but some males like to pay us to train them. (Their fee covers our numerous costs such as isp, webhost, photography, filming equipment, work clothing, etc.)

Serving a Mistress does not have to be about money. There are numerous ways a slave must serve a Mistress. Financial is just one of many ways to serve.
