blkswitch -> Prostate Massage/Milking (5/10/2011 3:25:44 PM)

What is the best "practice" gear for giving a first massage?

And are there any books on "How To" give a prostate massage and milking???

thank you!

I would say the best practice gear for a first massage is equiping yourself
with the knowledge that there are many risks involved in this practice.

Here is an informative link, with additional links at the bottom for tips on performing one.

Have always wondered how safe Prostrate massage/milking was, so your link was informative and helpful

From the article it sounds like most of the risks with prostate massage would arise from a male who has prostate health issues already; that if a doctor determines that a guy's prostate is healthy, it shouldn't really be a problem. Poise (or anyone), am I on track here?

I read this article to mean that doctors used to perform this massage as common
practice, but because of the dangers, are now opting to use medications.

Further reading in this article, as well as a few others, point out several other
potential risks involved in milking a healthy prostate.

I felt this article was the best gear to offer the OP, as they are
admittedly not familair with milking and may not even be aware that
there is any danger in it at all.

I may be reading this wrong of course, but it is always best to err on the side of caution.
And hey, it made humptiedumptie better informed. Yay! [:D]

It made me better informed as well. I had never before heard that there were risks involved with prostate milking.

I've always been curious about it; but the risks do sound potentially severe.
