Yup. The law gets tricky at the edges because it isn't consistent. If you're planning to do anything that will disgust a vanilla jury, talk to a lawyer first.

Dear Sublime5446, Ladies and Gentlemen;

There are guys who have such fantasy ideas as to beg seriously for such. That is why I like to create a scene that tricks the mind and use the victim's sensory realms to aid me into creating a similation. The real blast is when they grab the goodies and find them still there.

I agree--having men with all their goodies, is a handful of fun and frolic--at least for me.

Dear Lordandmaster, AcademyForSlaves, Ladies and Gentlemen;

I do not think any lawyer and or officer of the courts would advise any medical procedure done by those who are not licensed, insured, bonded and in an medical facility unless it was a life saving procedure and even so, over seen by a medical professional.

This is why using props to give the target victim the sensation of but, never causing damage and or remotely injuring the genitals is paramount for people to understand. It has been mentioned several times through the thread and bares repeating.

Personally, I would not ever do medical play to anything that would classify as mutilation, scars, cuttings, needles and or blood play. I manage to use props to trick the blindfolded target's mind into the sensations that would lead them to believe, assume and feel that such is taking place. Sometimes the 'mind game/fuck' is better than the real thing.

One thing to keep in mind as well, in many states consent is not a valid defense. As well, in a legal sense, any contract or waiver signed under the premise of a BDSM relationship is "legally" null and void. Literally not worth the paper its printed on. The reason for that is: to most of the vanilla world, BDSM appears to be based on "abuse" and "intimidation." Bullshit, obviously. However, the legal world states that any contract signed under duress is null and void. And I will bet dollars to doughnuts that any sub who flips out and sues, is going to have a lawyer smart enough to pull that out. Therefore it doesnt matter what they sign, videotape, or record giving you permission, any lawyer with 2 functioning brain cells will say "the sub did it because he was afraid of being "punished" " and you're up shit creek without a paddle. I very much agree with Lady Hugs in that a mindfuck is not only much much safer for all parties involved, but will probably satisfy the sub and get the stupid dangerous fantasy out of his head as well. Yet another thing to keep in mind for the subs sake, is any BDSM related injury can result in whats called a Form10. In other words, the patient is comitted under the premise of being a danger to themselves (aka putting themselves in life threatening situations for fun) or others, for psychiatric evaluation. The form10 will give doctors 72 hours to have the patient fully examined, and then they proceed to a form1. I believe its 3 doctors that have to sign a form1, but that little piece of paper gets to keep the patient against his will for an indeterminate period of time. Doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me, but hey I'm boring lol. This piece of paper can also be used against any Dominant involved in activities resulting in a subs hospitalization. These are obviously worst case scenarios, but when you have to explain anything exreme to the vanilla world, you may want to consider the fact that they dont necessarily want to hear it.

I agree.

In addition, the state's medical review board can exact charges through the US Attorney's office or the District's attorney/Prosecutor for practicing medical procedures without a license. In summary, if somebody wants to get nasty and be after you regardless of BDSM activities, the law has loop holes and hidden areas that can throw the lot of us into jail. It is just a matter of who, when and where.
